It's worth sacrifising Norfolk for.

To complete the sentence: 'Andi Peters please abandon your desperate bid to seem "interesting" and start spelling your name properly!'

It's a shame ITV have come up with this poor substitute for SCD. I know it hasn't started yet, but I'm not holding my breath.

Isn't that the BBC? Or was it made by an outside production company. I doubt the BBC would bother. It could be argued that they did the same with Fame Academy and Pop Idol.

I have to admit that the possibility of some macro-celebrity taking a tumble and breaking something, effectively ending their non-existant careers fills me with a tingely anticipation.

Lets face it the chances of a shattered pelvis, dislocated shoulder or severed finger on Come Dancing are minimal. But, talentles wannabes ON ICE! Bring it on I say.

Hope ITV have their insurance premiums paid up.

I think the only person in the line up with any talent or dignity whatsoever is Dame Kelly Holmes..the rest..well...we should all be used to this kind of crap by now.

Well for the first time in years, It seems I will be watching the BBC on a Saturday night. Sea of Souls is a lot more appealing than bloody amature night at the Ice Skating rink.

And make sure you watch 'The Romantics' on BBC Two before SOS.

I think celebrities will have big lollypop sticks shoved up their arse and be licked by members of the public. Now I want first dibbs on Katie Melua.

I think I heard her mention once that she'd won a couple of medals. I hope she'll mention it again during this series.

Not only is this an ice dancing variant on SCD, presumably it is just a blatant copy of Strictly Ice Dancing, the Christmas special from 2004? I'm sure this is going to be a ratings hit and demolish BBC1's feeble line-up, so I wonder why the Beeb hasn't threatened legal action already.

Will be interesting to see if there are any variations in the format at all (not that I'm intending to watch...)

Evening all!

Thought I'd give this programme a try.

So far my vote goes to Torvill & Dean

(By the way I'm in a good mood and it's nothing to do with Gillingham beating Swindon 3-0 today! )
