That was obviously a directorial decision to increase the tension for the audience. Since there was 'no particular order' to it then putting an injured professional through the mental torture of being in the last three was unnecessary. So she didn't have to perform again after all. It wasn't a nice thing to do to her. It was a cynical audience grabber that could have easily not been done.”

Didn't you think though, that Pam looked a bit sad to be through?
What will happen, 'cos surely if her shoulder is at risk of dislocation it will take time to build up the strength in the muscles and continuing will just aggrivate things.
Could she be released due to the injury, but David carry on with another partner - say the girl who partnered Andi?

From MediaGuardian:

ITV1's Dancing on Ice continued to waltz away with the Saturday night ratings honours, attracting 8.4 million viewers on its third outing.
The show's audience, which represented 38% of total viewing between 6.45pm and 8pm, was down slightly on its first two weeks but still comfortably ahead of the opposition.

Dancing on Ice's audience peaked at 9.6 million viewers at 7.30pm, a 43% share, according to unofficial overnights.

The ITV1 show faced competition from BBC1's coverage of Bolton Wanderers' FA Cup defeat of Arsenal, which attracted 5.1 million viewers between 5.30pm and 7.40pm.

Later in the evening, 6.9 million viewers - a 29% share - came back to ITV1 between 9pm and 9.30pm to see Andrea McLean lose the "skate-off" against Stefan Booth.

From what I've seen / heard / read the only reason John didn't do the 'lift' was because they both fell!! It was at that point in the routine. Maybe they'll treat us to it next week.

I wonder if his attitude to the dancing will change now he's fallen. Personally I think he's great and definitely deserves to at least be in the final but he does come across as cocky.

Why, you little... Repeat after me: John is great! John is great!
Thanks for the reply by the way.
Now, excuse me while I go apply to the Mods to have you banned.

Did he not get on with her? Just wondering what other's think about that.

It was Andi Peters being Andi Peters... i.e. an irritating little oik.

I too have a pointless crush on John Barrowman so i'll join the club! I bet hes a little afraid of trying new things now because of his fall on Saturday, I hope he does though because I always look forward to his routines!!

He seems like such a nice guy as well running around getting the rest of the guys drinks and food awwww. I love the show though, I think its brilliant and I can't wait for Torville and Dean to do balero again.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the name of the music was that John Barrowman was skating to in the first show? It was a spruced up dance cover to a classical peice of music?

Thanks,
Stephen.

Oops, sorry Turk - please let me stay!!!

In my defence (your honor) I have known John for many years & love him dearly I can assure you and all other John fans out there that he really is being himself on DOI. Gorgeous, caring, funny and totally self obsessed - in a good way.

I want him to go all the way & even ..... dare I say it .... win, I just wondered what others thought.

I solemly swear to do better in future and not doubt the great JB again!

Me neither. This is the first time I've watched the show and I'm really enjoying it, but I think Kelly came across as very competitive but then as an athlete it's probably in her nature. I thought her comments towards Jason were quite arrogant though.

I'm sure a competitive nature is a necessary part of being such a successful athlete, but many of us like to see some humility and i find it hard to warm to her. I suppose it's partly because I really like Jason Gardiner and think he's very talented at what he does. He's the only judge I know anything about and that's because of his dance background so I can imagine if he was giving me advice I'd be too gobsmacked to do anything but nod!
