Ok you must have kind of guessed that I am no use whatsoever at remembering famous people. I hardly watch BBC news only the local London one at 6.30

I only watch Corrie and the occasional news bulletin. Most of today's tv is tripe, you're not missing much

So I gather from being on these forums! The only thing is I cant engage in conversation because I have no idea who any one famous is or anything about any programmes!

I'm similarly clueless about chart music. Mainly as I don't listen to the awful rubbish

I think a level of technical discussion that will leave most readers, ahem, cold...

I think they can just do whatever they want in order to try to score points with the viewing public at home!

Have to say that I quite enjoyed it. Defrosted was awful. But the main show was quite entertaining. Quite looking forward to Bonnie Langford being flung bodily around the ice again and then putting on her showbiz grimace at not minding having her brains dashed against the ice. *Sigh* the things that celebs do to maintain their celebdom...

Its a fair point and a rare bit of constructive criticism on here.

Its mid week and the viewers could have done with a top up of the show to keep the interest going.

ITV should 've learnt from the mistakes of scd's first series when their support show was rubbish and hidden away. In itv's case they havnt got one .It could have been cheap tv and an opportunity for ITV2 to get some more viewers.
I havnt even looked for a website yet , im not sure there is one.

I dont know much about ice skating but giving the dances a theme is a good one . Some simple format for the audience and the celebs would be good to get their minds focused on something. Again i think that itv missed a trick here.

I think the shows interesting if a little too long. It could do with the odd tweak here and there.
The tension is incredible when the couples are on the ice. I'm giving it another look on saturday.

Why? cos we have seen everything develope over the week, all in the trusty hands (?) of Claudia.

Now what have we got to look forward too with this lot? Nowt till they all turn up again on Saturday and maybe 15 seconds of training footage. It is not going to work, certainly no one is ever going to any idea of how much effort the celebs and the pros are having to give just to stop themselves looking daft.

I emailed about it, they said they have "no plans at the moment"

I think if tonight's does well then the whole series probably will, and guranteee a second one - in which hopefully they may add themes to the week, which is the main thing missing. Although I'm always looking to see how they perform the new "move"...

Anybody watching tonight? Loved Andi Peters falling flat on his face as he made his dramatic entrance!

I've got a bit of a soft spot for Andi as I worked with him when he was first starting out (name drop name drop) but then again, at that time I fancied John Barrowman beyond belief and used to be struck dumb when he got in the lift with me (yes I KNOW I'm not his type, well I do now!), but he is utter rubbish isn't he !!!!!

It's the rubbish people I watch shows like this for. This one seems even more unbalanced than the others to be honest as John Barrowman and Bonnie Langford have so much more dance experience than the others.

Andi was crap, what the hell was that all about? The woman was doing all the work!

The judges are turning a bit Sharon Osbourne-esque - "man in drag", and the botox comment.

Doesn't Bonnie Langford look haggard? SHe's very good though. I'm enjoying this, I don't care it is a copy of SCD, it's nice simple Saturday night fodder while I'm too skint to go out and doing my january "no drinking" nonsense!

Drifter - Andi was utter rubbish! It was just like X Factor where Chico had loads of cute kids and backing singers to cover up his rubbish-ness! I didn't fall for it then and I'm not falling for it now!

Totally agree, undemanding family entertainment, but I don't see the point of the female presenter, she adds nothing to the show at all.

I think Holly has improved a little this week.

How do they add the scores together?

It's pretty much the same order as last week.

I'm hoping Kelly and Andy are in the bottom 2 this week

I think that the judge who made the comments about Kelly "resembling a man in drag" and also to the other female contestant (name escapes me) that "either her face was frozen or she had had too much botox" should either be made to apologise to them or asked to leave the programme. These comments are not about dancing and are too personal.

I thought Andrea and Andi were the poorest contestants this week. John Barrowman is the best by miles.

just wish bonnie would do some actual skating rather than it all being lifts...sure it looks spectacular and as a dancer she is great at it but i would like to see some real skating...think the crossovers were just about the only time her feet were on the ground

I thought that was quite unnecessary of the male judge to suggest that Andi Peters would prefer to have his hands on him rather than his female partner. Peters has always been careful about his sexuality and it was a very naughty thing to say. Andi looked very unimpressed to me!

Unfortunately they seem to think this is what we want to hear.

A Simon Cowell-esque type judge is now an essential ingredient in all reality talent shows.

The thing is Simon is more often than not right. But this new batch of judges are jsut unnecessarily insulting.

I love the show... but the 'Simon Cowell' type comments are so naff. Apart from a few dodgy scripts related to ice, I love it... and I love John Barrowman. Yes, love

Thank God Stefan is saved, he's good eye candy

He was nowhere near the worst tonight anyway.

Can someone please explain how they add the judges' scores to the public votes?

Great show, really enjoyed it, I think it'll do fine in the ratings (i hope so). Glad Andi went, he was a bit wet and the camp dancing while his partner did the real skating was cringworthy.
