Even though I have a HM I’d like to see win I’m kinda disgusted with all the manipulation that’s gone on and because of that the thought of putting more money in C4/Endemol’s pocket just sticks in my craw.

Anyone else, or am I the only one with principles?

Agree, 25p? F*ck that, I enjoy the thing and reading and reply to posts here - but not that much.

I'm not voting either ... but for different reasons ... I just really don't care who wins But I'll agree with you that the turnaround in Jade's behaviour after the 'coaching session' with Brett and the subsequent rehabilitation campaign, along with some very creative editing, has been pretty annoying and has swayed public perception and thus to an extent the voting.

Don't even get me started on the fact that nominations were cancelled the week after Adele was evicted

Nothing to do with me having any principles though

I'm not voting either..........the way in which this has been turned into a cynical money grabbing operation sickens me.

Has ANYONE really been so stupid as to pay 60 pence a minute "to listen live to the house" on the premium rate phone number??

Humbug.

We're all manipulated every minute of every day by adverts, the media, the government, religion etc.

The challenge of life is to make your own choices, using all available sources of information and discover your own path.

Go on, have your say, be part of it.

I think that people are having their say by NOT being part of it (at least not in the parting with cash sense!

He put it on quite a wile ago but he said the odds where good, Look alex-lovers can we have a thread without arguments cause it seems that everytime a Jonny-Fan posts they get kicked in the nuts by on of you weirdo's! Why r u like this?

People here write very long well written well reasoned posts about - at the end of the day, they write about unimportant drivel.

Yet I doubt they'd write to there MP about important issues. Maybe about more spending on the real problems people face, or maybe to demand more funds to countrys that are facing famine. More people voted in last years BB final than voted for the general election.

On top of this is the fact that what Straker and Chutney say is very true.

So let me get this straight ....you dissaprove of endemol Ch4 making so much profit and you think its biased .
Youve spent weeks on here telling us who not to vote for and discussing why you think this .
Youve clearly watched the programme from start to finish ...but ...your not prepared to put your money where your mouth is ....you object to others doing so ...and think its one big fix ......
quick tip people .....turn it OFF ....find some other entertainment .

OUCH!!!!!!!!! Well that told me didn't it?

Allow me to retort:

1) I'm not an Alex-lover
2) Not 'kicking anyone in the nuts' - just having a very light-hearted pop at him (you?) If me taking a pop is 'kicking in the nuts' then you've been very lucky so far in life. I'm about as threatening as a dead sheep (to coin a phrase).
3) I don't belong to any 'group' of people, especially not weirdo's (sic)
4) Why am I like what? I suspect your attributing a whole bunch of character traits to me that you have no reason to suppose I really have. Jeez ... I make one post and suddenly I'm the Antichrist???
5) LIghten the hell up It's the last day!!!!!!!!!!!! We should all be playing Mousetrap or Buckaroo.

Apologies if you are truly deeply upset and offended by my post.

And another thing ...

The real reason I had a pop at him wasn't because of the bet it was because he spent £00s on voting. He could have done something useful with that money! Nothing to do with the fact that he voted for Jonny at all!! Why did he do this?

If you can mount a defence to that then please go right ahead

I don’t see the relation between watching the show and commenting on it here to putting millions of pounds in C4s pocket. I’ve had an enjoyable BB experience and it hasn’t cost me a penny. If I’d felt this year’s had been properly run and not censored to hell with the C4 bods being more accountable, then I might have felt it was a more level playing field and voted today.

I’m sorry that you feel the only way you can fully enjoy tonight’s shenanigans is by paying for it but IMO it does not feel appropriate to reward the kind of mis-management and obfuscation that has marred this year’s run.

I think you're falling into the labelling trap (see many previous threads) ... there is no such thing as 'alex lovers' and 'Jonny-fans' i.e. people who think exactly the same thing about their chosen favourites and vote for them for all the same reasons and all behave in the same way.

As someone said earlier today it's a continuum with lots of different people having lots of different reasons for liking one person more than another.

Glad we're not falling out

All of that is fair enough but I object to being told why i should or shouldn't vote for someone when those people aren't voting themselves in any way.By not voting you lose the right to tell me where to place my 25p.BB is an interactive gameshow .It is billed as such from the very first moment .I certainly voted the first week .
If your not prepared to join the concept of the game wouldn't it be better to join a non participation forum.

Are you for real? Only people who pay have a right to an opinion?

Myself apart what about people who simply can’t afford to fritter away money, even if it is only 25p? Would you deny them the right to comment here? And if you read my post you’ll see this is a conclusion I have come to over the whole course of the show based on how it’s been run.

Sorry I wasn’t able to let you know earlier that I’d be abstaining.

Maybe you’d like to expand your twisted views further and find everyone who didn’t vote in the last general election and deny them a right to a voice also.

Thanks spearish - that’s by far the most pathetic post I’ve seen from you and one of the poorest I’ve seen on these forums.

I'm not voting, and never have. I dont believe that in what is supposed to be a public vote, you should pay to have your opinion heard. If there had been a free online vote I would have gladly voted.

I also find the blatant profiteering of C4/Endemol distasteful. If they could ensure that even a percentage of the money made from voting would go to charity then, again, I'd be glad to contribute (btw I did vote in Celebrity Big Brother).

My final reason for not voting is that, come tonight, should my favourite HM not win, I've not lost anything.

I've not voted either, and am glad C4/endemol are making profit out of others, but will continue to watch BB and the result, and comment on the forum, as those are the bits I like. I only voted in the Alex/Spencer episode to kick out Alex

I just don't think it's worth it, I invested a small amount on the first day on Jonny (seemed like a good bet then), and at least it may have been possible to get a return. Anyway I keep hearing about all these people phoneing 500 times from work etc 'cos it's free and reckon that I ain't gonna compete with that on my phone

Having said that if I felt really passionate about who won I would vote, but this show ain't just about who wins it's supposed to be 9weeks or whatever, of entertainment.

Hey, called me twisted, but IMO anyone who chose not to vote in the last general election has no right whatsoever to a voice with regards to how this country is run.

Consider those who died to maintain democracy.
