Just a thought but wasnt Wellard originally Robbies dog? Why isnt Sonia helping Gus (her mate) to sort out and get him back from "doggie death row"??

Personally I think it would be a better storyline if the dog was destroyed... but then again this would mean yet another death on the Square!

Seriously tho - how old is Wellard? Considering Robbie got him as a stray... he must be on his last legs anyway!!

There was a picture of Wellard with Robbie & the little brother, who recently randomly "came back" for one episode in amongst the casting in 1997 so Wellard must be at least -/ 10 now I reckon ... poor old Wellard - it could be a mission for Robbie, although the storyline is done to doggy death now!

Wellard always hated Sonia because of her trumpet and Sonia's exhausted all her forgiveness energy on Martin...

aren't they on their 3rd of 4th dog playing wellard, coz the others got so old they died?

I do however think it's a positive message to give to people about dogs that maul and what happenes to them.

Wellard didn't really maul Ian though did he. Wellard is being treated as though he seriously hurt someone.

I would be more concerned about how Wellard is after biting Ian's backside!

It would have been better if Ian had been bit in the balls instead and become impotent

Wellard is a dangerous dog who did cause a serious injury which required stitches. He may well have developed a brian problem which has turned him nasty.
