I have revently purchased the 8540E by Thomson, a DVD Recorder with 80GB HDD.
I have the following problem: When I have recorded a broadcast and later deleted it from the list, it fails to reclaim the disc space, and now it doesn't have any room for recording, even though its libraries are empty. I thought of formating it, but it doesn't appear to have such an option, and also of upgrading its firmware, but I can't seem to find any firmware updates on the net.
