so we've had the slitheen flying into big ben.... and the sycorax shattering the gherkin, what London landmark do you think will be destroyed in series 2/28?

Perhaps the cybermen will pop over to quickly trample on nelsons column, or one of the new alien races will blow up buckingham palace.

Its a bit silly, nothing like that would ever happen in real life.......

It has to be the Tower of London - since UNIT have their HQ there. But with the Cybermen, I think something happening to St. Paul's would be a wonderful nod to the past.

Maybe... just maybe.... we'll get an episode that isn't in either Cardiff or London.

Or is that just crazy talk?

Perhaps they could make it down to Cornwall! I'd love to see a foggy lighthouse/smuggling/shipwreck type tale along the lines of Horror of Fang Rock.

Really though, it is time the Doc got away from Earth for a bit. At least we've got an alternate Earth 2 parter and one alien planet story coming up in Series 2. Here's hoping Series 3 builds on this.

There is also an episode set underground on an alien planet (I think it's the one featuring the Horned Beast.)

Nice - I like that!

I was just wondering what the Cybermen would make of the congestion charge. Maybe Ken Livingston is the next London landmark to receive some harsh treatment?

The current Big Brother house with all the celebrities inside. Failing that, Tower Bridge would be pretty good.

If he's going to a parallel Earth, what's to say the whole planet won't be destroyed? He failed to save the parallel earth in Inferno. So maybe the whole planet will blow up.

I shudder to think what Jodie Marsh would get up to with a Cybermat.

Perhaps a mosque? Or expensive Sikh temple in London?

We wouldn't want the minorities to feel left out

Do you think they might catch the tube to Wembley Park?

I want to see Cybermen in the Underground again!

It'd be good if they stopped of at East Ham and popped into the Who shop!

It's not really surprising that Yeti and all sorts end up down there when the shop is right across from the station!
