And thanks to everyone posting here too!!!!

I've learned a lot about myself from this years big brother: if I had known what it was gonna be like I would not have strated watching

For the previous series I only caught snippets till the final couple of weeks. This year the contestants have actually made the best of a VERY bad job. I'm not one to boast normally but even I have more imagination than that load of cretins that dreampt up this year's tasks

All the HM's contirbuted to the experience.

Alison: if she had not gone early I would not still be watching. It really is possible to have fun without acting like a proper **** all the time.

Jonnykate: for me watching these two actors week after week escaping critical attention: it was like the baddies in a TV soap. Where do they det thier material. Sorry to all thier fans, really, but if I hear Jonny imitate BB one more time or his stooge reply YEESsss I will go bananas. Jonnykate put a lot of work into winning this: the bummer is only one of them can.

Sandy: I have a very cynical mind ... the troublw with that and human nature is you see through things all too quickly. For all the moaners here, pretty much everything Sandy said early on was right. You will never get people to admit that - heck, some even try to blame him for Alec being Alec - but he was memorable. The revelation about him kicking food parcels to the poor side ... just shows there is good in everyone.

Spanky: A good looker for sure but in the personality dept he is what I would describe as a "blank canvas". For me I was astonished he went. Not because I thought he was great but I imagined his cheeky grin, irreverant manner and looks would take him a long way. His interview with Davina: so satisfying in an "i told you so" sort of way.

Adele: A hate figure - someone who was playing a great game in the house but left all her common sense behind in the diary room. It's one thing to tell US you are scheming but the BB team would never have caught on if she hadn't said so. I loved her eviction almost as much as I would have love Jade's.

Sophie: apart from the mock boxing a real moper in the house. When she came out though, what a lovely person, so natural and easy going. I guess too easy going for jade which is probably why she got bullied so much.

Jade: YUK ... and yet compulsive watching. The biggest demo of how sexism is alive and well in this country. No man could get away with serially shouting, blubbing, denial, attack and to top it all ACT that pathetic baby voice. But she was compulsive watching again - if only in anticipation of her undoing. She undoubtably has flaws but acts them up out of all propartion to gain sympathy. The viewers fell for it - helped by C4 (have they got bets on her at 200:1 I ponder?). The jade effect for me is the power of the media not her lamely executed malpropisms. The media really can get someone lynched or crowned given a few weeks and a bit of hysteria.

Tim: great bloke, compulsive watching again. Wants to get into TV. Same outside as in. I liked him for being genuine and, indeed, for telling the truth about the pathetic tasks. It was a bloody panto and Jonny really was ACTING like a ********.

Alex: Well, lot of words there. Could not stand him at the outset but as it went on ... weegate etc. I like seeing people with flaws because most of us have them. Alex failed to hide his (or even failed to try). He has my sense of humour: he does not need to dance centre stage to play for attention but his one liners were right to the point. Great speech at the end too.

PJ: thought he might go all the way, should have but for BB's keep Jade in conspiracy. PJ, Kate, Alex and Jonny should have been the last 4 without doubt. Don't think he would have won, but he stayed aloof and was behind rumbling a lot of the schemers.

Ooops ... and all the list members here.
Anyone who believed in the Jury system and eye-witness statements as the backbone of the British legal system needs to think again.

It is unbelievable how two people can watch the same footage and bring so much prejudice to the interpretation. How people can loathe someone to the point of violence for the way they speak and do thier hair How so many posters not only see the events but also know what the HMs were THINKING too ... then crucify them verbally because "anyone who thinks like that is evil per se".

I'm glad its ending ... just hope they all get the send off they deserve. A shame they dont get at leat 1p per phone vote each for thier trouble too!!!

Bye all

Alice
