Wish I could go to see Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park and Mystery Jets on the NME tour at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange but unfortunately have no friends that would go (not that i've asked, I just know they dislike those bands) and would normally go alone if there wasn't a certainty of being killed if I went alone as it's a standing only gig.

I know i'll regret missing it. Bloody stupid friends.

Woo-hoo!!

Just bought tickets today to see The Wonder Stuff at the Carling Academy in Newcastle on March 10th.
I was a massive fan when I was at college (89-92 - seems so long ago now!) and I never managed to see them then.

It's also my first gig since Radio 1's Big Weekend in Sunderland last May. I hate having a mortgage and other responsibilities - it really restricts the things I want to do.

Roll on March 10th!

Oh - one other thing - 200th post!

Would like to see darren Hayes too.
I'm Hoping Queen + Paul Rodgers announce some UK dates this year too.

Went to see Embrace just b4 Christmas, very very good show! I'll be going to see Depeche Mode in Manchester in March (they've been my favourite band for years so I'm really looking forward to it!)
