Hi guys,
Have a quick question. Have been using the Humax PVR8000t to great success for the past couple of days. I am really pleased with it - I've had no lock-ups at all and have downloaded a bunch of programmes - just recording whatever looks interesting and watching it back whenever I want has been fantastic!
The only slight problem I have is that occassionaly on a recording I get a freeze-frame. It usually lasts a couple seconds - the audio continues to play and then it will play as normal again, and it clicks back into play in perfect sync with the audio so it's no big deal.
My question is simple. Is this a problem with my signal or the hard drive itself? Signal Strength is 80%, but on my old bog standard freeview stb I used to get alot of sound dips e.t.c. caused by electrical appliances. I never have sound dips at all with the Humax box but I wonder is the freeze frame just a different symptom of inteference?
Thanks Alot.
