Emzi I will agree with you. I am gutted that Kate won. I really think that Jade should have one, I was so upset that she went out first tonight. Her post eviction interview proves what I mean, she was definately the star tonight. The rest of BB was frankly boring tonight. Don't get me wrong I like Kate, but I don't think that she was a winner, she just doesn't have that extra pizzazz, compare her to Brian last year- he was and still is a star.

I know a lot of people on this forum don't like Jade, but tonight she shone. She was honest, bubbly, friendly and genuine tonight and was so excited by the whole experience.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I'm sure for a lot of you she does 'do it for you', but not for me, and obviously not for emzi. Please don't slate the DS staff, they have done a magnificent (and unpaid) job over the last 9 weeks and if they want to speak frankly now, then let them without trashing them.

Well perhaps next year the Hm's can be selected from regional knockout rounds of University Challenge and Davina replaced by either J Paxman or Tony Wilson should just about knock the shopping channel off the bottom of the ratings

I wanted Alex to win so badly - my second choice was Jade - I would like to think that it wasnt fixed but at in the end - Jade was very happy - she felt she was a winner anyway - I think I remember Alex saying he would not want to be second place - and he is set to make millions - so he's a winner.


I do feel disappointed that Jonny wasnt in fourth place - but it is just sour grapes to start whingeing about it now.


It's like in the football - when the ref gives a bad decision the team have to live with the end score - like it or not.


Its a game - I havent gained anything - in fact I have spent quite a bit of money voting but I have enjoyed it and hope they all do well.

The best person won, fair and square and I'm not sure how Kate winning can be seen as a bad reflection on public opinion.
Kate has been friendly, sensitive, funny, intelligent, not bitchy or two faced and seems like a genuinely nice person.
Can the same be said for the others?
I'd rather someone like Kate be our choice than someone who is bitchy, ignorant, moany, lazy, insensitive or two faced (random selection of some of the other 13 HMs "qualities".
Its great to see somebody genuinely nice come out top for a change.

It was all such an anti climax. When Jade was first out, we knew something wasn't right - the sight of jonny and kate in there as the last two was gutting. Still, I predict we will see a lot more of alex and jade than the other two idiots. I know it sounds bitter, but I feel a bit cheated tonight. I totally agree Emzi, but I can see HOW she won. I found her very dull, I'm afraid, which her made a popular choice in the end. Although a lot of people liked Alex, Jade and Jonny, they had the people who united aginst them too. Kate proved a popular choice for the "anyone but" crowd. At the end of the day, I don't really believe she did anything that meant she deserved to win, but with great popularity also comes great dislike. Kate just managed to slip between the favourites. I would find it very hard to believe someone who said Kate had been their number one choice from Day 1.

I feel sorry for you, if you can't see the qualities that made 3 million vote for her as the winner then your life partner is going to be moaning at you for the rest of your life about peeing in the shower, or shouting in your ear "ba-ba".

Kate, has always tried to simply have a smile on her face, even when she has failed, it hasn't taken long for her to get it back. Alex? it took him 8 weeks, and a week of Jonny and Kate to put a smile on him.

So, poor fellow, try to remember this is just a game show, the best person won, and the best person came second, and the trailers of 3rd and 4th were there. Just be thankful that He beat Jade.

To be fair, when posting in the forums, there's no need for unbias. Just because they are reporters, they all have their favourite deep down. It may be necessary to stay unbiased when reporting, but she is clearly not reporting - just expressing her opinion, which is what we all do here. Any posting read here should be regarded as a fellow forum member, whether they are a reporter, moderator or whatever. Rubbishing views just because they are posted by an 'official' person is a little unfair. Any reporter is fully entitled to their own opinion when 'off duty'.

Sour grapes eh? I bet you feel cheated... all those re-dials at 25p per shot... and what you got for it? Just what most people have already known, you can't go on looks, you have to open your eyes and see the personality and not be blinkered.

Yes, I agree with you. Although Kate won fair and square, she didn't have that magic something.
When I saw Davina interviewing Jade it looked like Jade was the winner of BB3.
Everything afterwards didn't really move me. The last two years I felt real emotion for the winner.

Do you not realise that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and obviously there are a lot of people who didn't like her, Jade got over 1m votes in 4th place, and I doubt that 3m people actually voted for her, i'm sure many actually voted more than once.
Kate wasn't my favourite, I don't dislike her, but imo she wasn't the star of the show.
If you have got something to say, say it without resorting to insulting people, especially the people who make it possible for you to have your say

Secondly, I am convinced that you are not a reporter for DS because someone given a responsibilty such as that would not respond to my post in such an immature way.

The overwhelming majority voted for Kate but i think your right.Alex should have won it.The whole house revolved around him for the whole 9 weeks all the arguments the tasks etc.But if the ad contracts are to be believed he is already a big winner.
