What I find annoying is that these people, reporters and Moderators, have been placed in a position of responsibilty within this forum. In that role they have had to take the high ground and censor etc...

Yes they can have a view, but not under the log in title that shows that status. Why? Coz such immature views such as Emzi really pisses me off after the numerous times I have been lectured to by these people.

Sorry, guess I wasn't clear, there's no problem with her having a view, obviously. My point is that if a post is not in an 'offical' DS capacity, they should not have the staff ID under the username. It wouldn't have caused the argument in this thread that way.

This is entirely my own opinion. I don't expect anyone to agree with me. Nor do I expect to change anyones mind. In my view she was the the least contoversial winner. She was also the most boring winner. She didn't really excell in any way and her best best highlighted the lack of them. She relied on others to prop her up and never seemed to make an imapact herslf. Yessss! Yessss! Thats how I'll remember her. That's it really. No knocking her, if that's what it takes to win (and that matters) fine but she's down there with Criag when it comes to "winners" with me................

I'll run with that. I can't explain why Kate and Jonny were the last 2 in the house, but the real star was self evident, and he will have the last laff, and good luck to the bloke. Kate will continue to have her fan base with the lads and ladettes no doubt for a short time, but how long can you sustain a career based on arsing about and getting drunk?

All the mods have too much to do tonight moderating the mass of posts that are being made therefore we are likely to take any action against any problem members when it is a bit quieter.

The question about different login's can be answered thus :- Only one login is allowed per person, this even applies to DS Staff. Even if DS staff had different logins it would be easy to match up one with another and make the same accusations. Therefore unless signed in a similar style to below, posts are personal opinion.

Neither was I and I've been around long enough to have seen quite a lot of those unpopular governments as well. Just a thought - personally I think Kate and Jonny being in the first two is no surprise. Their in house alliance was probably replicated by a number of voters also. Jade and Alex were individual candidates. Still thats the way it goes.

Don't be so naïve about things mromega, of course the housemates are role models, all celebrities are role models to smaller or larger extents. It is a fact that many people will look up to celebrities as a role model of how to act, things to do etc. Maybe you wouldn't consider them to be role models, but that doesn't mean that they are not.

Also, yes maybe some people should gather perspective, but that doesn't mean that their views are invalid.

If you feel the thread has degenerated, why bother with a second warning, you seem to be shutting threads all over the place tonight, why not add another to the tally...
