All the mods have too much to do tonight moderating the mass of posts that are being made therefore we are likely to take any action against any problem members when it is a bit quieter.

The question about different login's can be answered thus :- Only one login is allowed per person, this even applies to DS Staff. Even if DS staff had different logins it would be easy to match up one with another and make the same accusations. Therefore unless signed in a similar style to below, posts are personal opinion.

Fair enough. But there is also the possibilty of clearly stating that this is the PERSONAL view of whoever is posting and not an official one.

I think it is important to put in that disclaimer in the hope it will not make you all look like hypocrites.

Now for me to be a hypocrite: Thanks DS and all the staff for a great Forum this year. See yer again in 2003.

The words Grapes and Sour spring to mind, can't think why?

Any of the winners would have been the wrong one to many people. Personally I don't think any of them shone too well.
So Kate didn't say thanks to Jade, maybe she will when she sees the whole episode on tape. Maybe she already has, we weren't watching and listening 24/7. Jade had much to thank Kate (and Jonny) for but I don't (a haven't) hear you pointing that out. If it were not for Kate Jade may well have walked when no one but Kate was talking to her. As to the Pork scratchings, a bit weak isn't it. Said as a JOKE, and one that Jade heard. How can you profess to know what Jade feels about it? I verbally abuse my friends wife all the time (and she me) we are the best of mates I assure you and we know it's a joke.
Sorry but cleaning up someones puke does not a BB winner make.

Emzi I almost totally agree, Kate, as an IT contractor on (according to her) 30k+ is not exactly skint, and she is definitely adept at public relations (ok I'm being nice here). The way she has behaved at times n the house has been awful (and I am not averse to the odd pint and game of pool myself) , BUT I wouldn't puke all over the place and let someone else clean it up. Kate was particularly weak-willed to my mind. She could not have coped without someone to hold her hand, and Jade showed in the past couple of weeks that she can. Kate needed constant reassurance, and Jade coped with constant derision from her fellow HM's.

She relied on others to prop her up and never seemed to make an imapact herslf. Yessss! Yessss! Thats how I'll remember her. That's it really. No knocking her, if that's what it takes to win (and that matters) fine but she's down there with Criag when it comes to "winners" with me................
I totally agree with you, I was thinking exactly the same thing. Alex wasn't my fav, but him behind the door was funny, talking to the chickens etc...natural humour as opposed to the forced humour of Kate, she is one of those people who I neither hate nor love, every 'funny' moment of Kates includes other people and relying on their humour to back her up.

Yes they can have a view, but not under the log in title that shows that status. Why? Coz such immature views such as Emzi really pisses me off after the numerous times I have been lectured to by these people.

Nobody likes a hypocrite!
How did I miss out on getting lectured.
Damn I miss all the fun!

Fallyhag perhaps if your re-read your post it would explain a lot.
Chill out a bit for gods sake. No-one was forcing you to express your views in this forum the way you have been doing.

I totally agree Emzi, but I can see HOW she won. I found her very dull, I'm afraid, which her made a popular choice in the end. Although a lot of people liked Alex, Jade and Jonny, they had the people who united aginst them too. Kate proved a popular choice for the "anyone but" crowd. At the end of the day, I don't really believe she did anything that meant she deserved to win, but with great popularity also comes great dislike. Kate just managed to slip between the favourites. I would find it very hard to believe someone who said Kate had been their number one choice from Day 1.
Yep, I agree.

I've got to say that though I liked and even admired Kate that the reasons I watched avidly this year were Jade and Alex. They both made me laugh (frequently) and cry on occasion. I found them both fascinating charactors. That said I salute Kate for a game well and honestly played.

On another note I think that the eviction shows have not been as good this year. Tonight was a bit shambolic, after seemingly endless crowd interviews everything else seemed rushed. Also I do wish Davina (much as I like her ) would lay off imposing her views on the contestants by very leading questions...

'You do love her.....'
'You had a soft spot for...'
'You were happiest...
et al

Finally- Kate is a great looking girl, normally very stylish. I think she may come to regret that eviction outfit!

I find it bit disappointing and odd that I could vote for Alex after the voting had closed when he was the next one to leave. In my mind this seems fraudulant. What do you think?

I'd definatly have prefered Jade or Alex to have won as the two most interesting characters, but they did'nt and to be fair I have no big problem with Kate winning and I wouldn't of with any of the four finalists although I would of if it was Tim who had won.

Was'nt Jade just great with Divina, I think she is a STAR in the making

You are so right. I am devastated at tonights result - the sad thing is that she will be forgotten in a few weeks time. Once the public get tired of her pretty smile they will realise that there's nothing else to her !

Agree - she is no actress. She proved that during the show.

Not really, as anyone should have known he didn't stand a chance anyway.

While I think she deserved to win as she played the game very well, I don't think she should have, simply because as people have said, she didn't win due to being outstanding but due to being less charismatic than the others and so there was less to dislike about her. My dad watched the final tonight, and from the little he's seen of BB this year he said
'She won because she's ordinary. Alex and Jade just weren't ordinary enough, were they?'
The fact that they stood out to him immediately, for their flaws as well as their positive traits makes them the memorable housemates this year, regardless of who won.

It's not ridiculous to assume that she want's a career in acting though, and she does display a talent for mimickry.
Her Father said on RI:SE, that she wants to act in films.

No matter how you look at it she's a wannbe actor, and faked it right to the end. She lied about the follow the van thing.

Yes, good luck to her you may say, but it doesn't escape the fact that she must have learnt enough about acting for her Father to say she's talented enough to appear in feature films.

So it's not ridiculous.

To be fair a diploma in Performing Arts alone could get you a job as an actress etc. On the other hand an A level in Psychology alone is hardly going to get you a job as an Psycholigist.

I know. Although I hope Kate enjoys her moment. I have to say it sets a bad precedent for next year.

Jade's interview looked like the interview of the winner. Her interview would have finished the show on a real high.

I didn't feel emotional this time.

Sure Jade and Alex had some pretty hilarious moments but their intolerances of other people and cattiness stuck out like a sore thumb.
Exactly my feelings..u beat me to it !
