But .. the 70k could help kate to getting more material - I mean the stuff she and Jonny used was out of date and being used to death ....... get drunk, get nekkid, do one-legged dance, do, davina and do the geordie bloke "day X in the ...."

Kate deserved far more slagging off than she got. (... same as valid criticism frankly, IMO).
I hope she enjoys her moment ... and that's about it.
No-one really tried to take her down, because there was nothing meaty or interesting to latch on to. She was dull as f*ck.
Even Jonny provided greater grounds for debate, because he was slightly more interesting (can't believe I'm saying that, but is true I think).

I think I lost interest in tonights show as soon as they announced that Jade was going. You could tell by the crowd reaction that Alex was going to be next.....and when he was I was gutted:'(

I thought Jonny seemed more genuine than Kate who came across as still trying to impress. Unfortunately she didn't impress me and I was left feeling cheated.

Totally agree. As soon as Jade and Alex were kicked out the show lost it's punch.

I was pleasantly surprised at Jonny, but Kate seemed unable to switch off. She has spent nine weeks performing to the camera and despite winning still wasn't able to stop.

For me a worst case scenario is that she stars in an advert in which she keeps saying "yessss!".

Yes, the wrong person won. I hope Kate enjoys her fleeting chance at the limelight, but I'm sorry she won and even sorrier that Jonny didn't go out before Alex & Jade. I think, however, that A & Jade will get a lot out of this, in terms of money, recognition etc. Kate wants to act in the West End ROFLMAO!!! I don't think that will come to much! Speaking as a person who has worked in the West End for over 10 years solidly, I think you need a bit more than an A level in drama and a stock of bad impressions... Ah well. Maybe one day we'll see a woman win for all the right reasons, rather than because she has a nice bum.

As has been pointed out on numerous occasions Alex and Jade are both going to make a tidy sum over the next few months, they won't be complaining, and good luck to them. They've given us great entertainment.

In the end Big Brother is a popularity contest and Kate was more popular than any other housemate.

Actually, guessed for some time that Kate would win, and could see that Alex was too much of a real character to win the thing. Realise that there's an enormous number of mentally catatonic people out there who would genuinely prefer the likes of Kate and Jonny.

You are forgetting that as soon as Alex was evicted all his fans would have voted for Kate to stop Jonny from winning. On top of this her own fans would be voting for her when the voting for Alex had stopped.

It's not sour grapes I just think it wasn't the runaway victory that people seem to think.

As Davina showed on film for Kate and Jonny (didn't for Jade and Alex) these people have been running your campaign, followed by clips of Jonny and Kates families?friends. Probably cost £70k for the votes to keep on dialling! There should be a fairer system of 1 person 1 vote IMO.
