I think she prolly won it cos she did less to irritate the public than any of the others. Heh heh, if only we could have seen her winners interview with Davina first. Drunk to the end, the amount of YASSSSSSSSSSSs and one legged dancing sure irritated the hell out of me.

IMHO if you judge the final four on their entertainment value for the show Alex and Jade were streets ahead of Kate and Jonny and it is a bloody mystery why they should have gone out first.

I reckon over the coming months we will see more of ppl like Alison, Sophie, Lee and Spencer than the boring pair that ended up as finalists.

Kate's only hope for continued exposure will be to hook up with Spanky (and I doubt if he would put up with her for long) or the inevitable fitness video once ppl have had time to forget her drunkeness. YASSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly, the wannabes have a massive campaign backing them because they seem to think that winning is their break into the industry.

Thankfully their lack of talent coupled with their desperation to win will do them no favours at all.

Not very much I'm afraid, didn't have the courage of my own convictions! I'd had two small wagers on her at 16-1 and 12-1, and backed her rather more heavily to be the top female.

Then I started to panic after she got so drunk the other night and I read the posts on here, so had a bet on Alex just so that I could enjoy tonight without having to worry about who won (I'd already got an each way bet on Jonny).

One of the interesting factors of this year's Big Brother is that the bookmakers have been consistently less well informed than the people on this forum, which has meant that there were opportunities to make a profit each week (especially on eviction nominations).

Sophie is a tv natural I think and we shall see a lot more of her! Lee is a stupid git - the sooner Sophie dumps him the better (Anyway Cal loves Sophie) Spencer is cute. Alison is very funny when she is toned down a bit.

Kate has very little to offer - I really can't see where she is going to go, she has to be drunk or draped around a bloke.

Jonny will get on the club circuit ooop north - hope he enjoys it.

Jade and Alex - will be good. If Jade rings alex (did he give her his phone number?) and takes his advice - she will be quids in.

I still despair over anyone having a mother like Jades (For the grace of God and the stupidity of the stork - any one of us could have ended up with a mother like Jackie)

Kate is the person I thought would win from about the half-way point on ... and she did.


I still think now what I did then (that she was playing a part - tart? ) but she did it well and stayed out of the nominations lists.



The voters are entitled to appreciate whatever form of humour they like. I happen to prefer something more subtle that does not require getting pissed first but there you go ...

Kate made a great winner in my eyes. She is funny, caring, talented, resourceful and intellegent - oh, and humble too. She has her faults as we all do, but no terrible personality traits in my view.

RE:Comment about Jade/Alex being honest - all well and good, but if they are honestly horrid then how is that a good thing? I'm confused how honesty is a defence for rudeness, hypocrisy and bitching.

Of all housemates, I'd have liked to have seen Spencer at the end and maybe a winner, but I'm happy my votes for Kate counted...and for the first time someone I wanted to win won!

I agree. You are making a valid and important point. I've read a number of Alex threads and they often get attacked. The most enjoyable thread I've read of all is the "ALEX's best moments" one. It is almost worth publishing. There was so much quality, amusing, reflective and really stimulating stuff Alex did in the show which never even got shown on the Ch4 programme

Jonny and Kate supporters need to get more positive about their winners, and stop knocking the losers.

The lack of positive threads on Jonny and Kate, despite the obviously large number of Jonny and Kate supporters on this forum says a lot about them. Their 'support' looks a lot more like distaste for the alternatives, and their votes look tactical - too keep the opposition from winning.

Prove me wrong, and start singing the praises for your triumphant pair.
