An experiment. Because I'm curious.

Treated unfairly rather than bullied I would say and I think she handled it brilliantly most of the time.

I think she would be a hard person to live with and obviously has many faults, but believe she was bullied. I'm female and 34.

Glad to see the variety of ages on this forum!

Just remembered I'm 35 not 34 - I hate it when that happens! (I was born in 1970 so I'm 36 this year). Please tell me I'm too young for a Senior Moment!)

Jodie didn't do herself any favours with her behaviour, which is a shame, as that's what she obviouly wanted to do. But, at the same time, I don't think she deserved to be yelled at by MB constantly, and all the housemates ganging up on her in one go was outrageous. If they had truly cared about her, they would have selected one person to talk to her quietly in a sensitive manner.

I am 36

Jodie initially invited a debate but could not handle disagreement nor good advice, even though it was harshly delivered.

Michael is seriously losing it now (or earlier today) - he should have the maturity to know when enough is enough.

It went on for too long

Age over 30 and hate all forms of bullying - self induced or not!!!

Jeff, thinks Jodie brought it on herself, 31...”

why is it that when you ask for a yes or no and age, people feel the need to post novels when there are thousands of threads already full of it.. This is just an experiment and a simple and quick yes or no would do...

AND before anyone moans at me for having a couple of sentences on mine, I went back and edited it cos I thought if you can't beat em join em!!!

That's too simplistic a question to ask, it's not just an either or issue, a great many people on this forum aren't jumping on the playground band wagons and taking sides.

I don't think Jodie was bullied but I think she was treating unkindly and reprehensibly by 3 grumpy old men, who should know better at their respective ages.

Some of it she was the catalyst for, and some was them getting carried away with themselves and whipping each other up by bitching about her so much.

I'm 35.

And I didn't just say yes or no because I'm not going to be forced into some sort of childish pigeon hole.

Why TF was he banned? Bit quick on the report button

Tiffy thinks those old enough should have known better. Just goes to show that isolating the weak isnt just something the kids do at school.

Then to just sit back and do nothing during one of MB's rants...well it just goes to show off all their poor personal qualities.

Jodie didnt help herself but they had no right to allow that to happen.

We are all responsible for our own responses to others, shouting, pointing, verbal abuse etc. it is a response that is out of control.

They went too far!

Jodie was not responsible for the behaviour and emotional choices of others - only her own.

42 (I'm an ex bullying counsellor BTW - 7yrs training )

Not Jodie's biggest fan, but I think she was bullied, (I'm 48).

It's not a popular thing to say, but quite often it's easy to see why certain children are bullied as well. It still doesn't make it right.

Are we all getting on a little here, or are the youngsters just not posting as they don't wanna prove Mr. Lebowski's point?
