Do both have a DV / Firewire connection? If so then you need a 4 pin tp 4 pin firewire cable (PC world £15). If not then is the yellow (video) red and white (stereo audio) connections using RCA/ Phono connectors. You probably would have had a set of those with either the camera or the DVD.

The Panny manual should show you the connections

I cannot be certain as I don't have that model, but usually the external connections are listed as AV1, AV2 etc. So if you select BBC1 and then select "channel -" (i.e press the channel up or down button "down" ) you should see the AV (audio / video) inputs. The scarts are normally AV1 and AV2 with the discrete phono connectors AV3 or AV4. Plug the camera in, start playing a tape and then play with the channel up/ down button until you see the picture. Sorry I cannot be more precise.

I do suggest you refer to the manual. You should be able to download it if you, like me, can never find the bloody thing when you need it!
