It certainly does seem look like it's got people talking about Torchwood - as you say, it can only be a good thing.

I would suggest something like Celebrity Bullseye on Ice (would they *really* need to have a dartboard? ) but I think there's a good chance that idea actually was thrown into the ring in one of the commissioning meetings.

Well if it was, I want some payment!

Jesus wept.
Apart from Ant and Dec that was around before Doctor Who, but was still put up directly against the Doctor Who schedule,....all the rest are badly made f**king spoiler programmes.

All put up directly against a new run of either Doctor Who or Big Brother.
You even get an ITV press statement saying that they intend to get their viewers by pitting these shows against other channel's new series of a programme.

..Then when viewers complain a short while after the run has started, they wheel out some different spokesperson to deny that was ever their intention to steal viewers at all.

How childish can they get?

Very different things.
Exactly. 'X-rated' does not necessarily mean the same thing as 'sexy'.

John Barrowman elaborated on the 'sexy' side....the 'X Rated' is probably something completely different.

I don't see how RTD or JB are back peddling at all.
RTD says it will be sexy, JB says it will be sexy...therefore...it will be 'sexy'

'X Rated'?...who claimed it would be like that?
It sounds like a rumour got started, and John Barrowman just clarified that the 'X' in the comparison with 'The X Files' must have got confused with 'X Rated' by some tabloid or something.

RTD and JB probably meant exactly what they said they meant.
It's probably the fault of a third party that started some rumour about the show being 'X Rated' it's not their fault if that is the case.
