i dont think i am ageist

i really enjoyed last years CBB and there were some good ages in there

i am forty couggggggghhhh, but i do beleive the older lot in this years BB have spoilt it

what would we have done if it hadnt have been for jodie, love her or hate her discussing her involvement has been the main thing on these forums this last week

i had high hopes when i saw Dennis, Tracie and the other younger ones but the older ones with their prudish views and morals have stifled any fun element at all

and what is to become of the tasks now? will they all be like today when there has to be a full discusion to see who should win

Rember the box task from last year, todays was just a farce....no task just lets pick the winner and we will all get out of our boxes before them

Then what does BB do today the bring in Jimmy Saville, the HMs eyes are glazing over, all except his fan club, GG RULA and MB

IT's Boring

POOR SHOW BB, we as viewers and voters deserve better

I think quite the opposite, seen to many BB's with boring young wanabees with boring conversations and thinking they are really good fun.

TBH i think its probably a knee jerk reaction Endemol have made after the criticism BB6 received for having too many immature youngsters in it. I think theres too big an age gap between the oldest and youngest though this year and we've had another inevitable divide from early on.

I know what you mean...I'm an older viewer and I usually love the older contestants..but there needs to be a good mix and this year there isnt...The older HM's have stifled the younger ones far too much.

To be honest..I am losing interest

i think if barrymore or George go next the others will all have more fun.
Dennis, Traci, Faria, Chantelle, Pete, Maggot and Preston all do seem like people who will have fun if they aren't being forced to act a certain way.

I think they have reached the point where they take what they can get - whatever the age.

I just think it's difficult for them to get anyone interesting to agree to do it.

I agree that Jodie provided some entertainment, but keeping her in and divided from the rest of the house moping about would have gotten boring by monday, and she's a miserable cow anyway, so she needed to get the boot.

Yeah, but on the other hand, nobody would be talking about Jodie if it wasn't for the "oldies" fighting with her.

It's not about age, it's about personality. Last year, the best ones were John McCririck and Jackie Stallone and they were well over the hill!

No I dont think the older people have ruined it.

To be honest if anything the previous BB's the young immature people have ruined it. I didnt want 3 weeks of "Hehe, lets do each others hair and make up"

I would far rather see boring young hms than have to suffer the painful sights offered by Burns, Lenska, Galloway and Bullymore - a more freakish, controlling and nasty group of people you would be hard-pressed to find. The sight of Galloway 'drinking milk' out of raddled old Lenska's hands was like some nightmarish reader's wives porn travesty; Burns is a self-obsessed freak; Bullymore is utterly psychotic.
While I suppose it could be argued that they are at least interesting to watch, I for one find the spectacle veers between painfully embarrassing and just painful.

Think about if the house was full of people like Chantelle and Jodie. How utterly shallow would that have been?

The old people have caused the conflict and entertainment:

Barrymores outbursts
Georges Cat impressions
Petes moodswings
Dennis sleeptalking

Jodie was the only young person to stand out amoumg the young group. It's mostly the young ones that are boring, Maggot, Preston and Chantelle don't do anything.

I think if the older HMs did their thing without feeling the need to stiffle the younger ones from doing their thing then it would be much better as we'd have a bit of both worlds, which imo would make for more entertaining viewing.
