I don't feel ripped off by the entertainment that Endemol and CH4 have given us for the past nine weeks....

We've spent a few quid on voting over the course of over two months......

...now let's look at the fact that the BBC gives us so much sh*te for the tenner a month we get charged for the TV licence. There is only so much of Dale Winton and Jonathon Ross that one person can handle....

If you've voted once a week - you've only paid £2.25 for Big Brother 3.

Damn good value, I'd say....

Agree. He said he didn't want to win and I think he meant it. I am sure he is happy with the result. Now, that he has come out of the House and realises he was loved.

So cheer up everybody peeps!

Boys, boys.

Benson, as a die hard Alex (and Jade) fan I understand your disappointment. I normally support your posts and disagree with Jezzas. Certainly, you have every right to a post mortem but please don't take it to heart so much. Alex, himself, didn't want to win. Millions of people liked him as much as we did. The GBP didn't watch as much as we did and yes, I think, there was bias. The fact is though Johnny and Kate won. They played a good game and they won. That does not mean we are losers. It does not mean anyone is better than us. It just means that like the bloody World Cup and Wimbledon, who we think is the best doesn't always win.

Benson, I have to say you are not coming across very well. Jezza (probably because he feels he has won) is even coming across better

Lets celebrate the fact that we had fun, were passionate about our cause and try and think logically again. Go and read the Alex Best Moments Thread and have a laugh again. Next year we'll all be at it again.

I really do feel like complaining CH4 and Endemol, but what's the point?! They're not going to care, they're laughing all the way to the bank. Nothing but Professional conmen.!!
There is a case in America at the moment of a stupid man taking Burger King to court because he got fat eating their burgers. Your post is nearly as stupid. You don't like it? Then don't watch it. You don't like the charges to nominate? Don't nominate. Channel 4 and Endemol didn't point a gun to your head.

So let me get this right, you dont agree therefore it's stupid?!! My post is made out of facts, which were as plain as day to anyone who wanted to see them. I dont really see the relevance of the BK story....yes very odd.

I wanted Jade to win, but I do not, for one second feel the slightest bit cheated. I really enjoyed this years BB, and I feel Kate won fair and square.

Aw bless. The relevance of the Burger King story is pretty obvious, I'll leave you to mull that one over. And I'm not disputing the facts in your post either. My point was, you can't blame Channel 4 and Endemol for the fact you spent so much money on Big Brother. You had a choice every step of the way, so to criticise C4 and Endemol as severely as you did is a little... misjudged.

Perhaps now the Burger King story is making a bit more sense to you?

This thread here is where that issue is discussed:

I see your analogy Oddboy. We all have a choice, we all know that these companies are there to make money - it's what business is about. Big Brother as a programme needs to amke money for the companies involved - if it didn't it wouldn't be made. It's all called avertising.

I agree Oddboy.

I can see your point guys, but I didn't mention suing CH4 or Endemol. I said I felt cheated with regards we were spending money to vote for a winner, but it wasn't a level playing field. Some getting better coverage than others. As I said before, I'm not sore about Alex losing or spending the money, I'm really sore at the way, Endemol decided who to put across nicely and who not to.

I hear this arguement time and time again, but when there is coverage which is virtually 24 hours a day, how do they choose who to put across as nicely. I had on occassion the tv on all day whilst working from home and chose in my mind the exact same clips that the editors/producers did to show the next sday on BB. They were obvious amongst the boring day to day stuff. There is nothing to be gained by putting certain people across as nice and other s not.

This IS my point, on the 24 hour coverage we saw the full picture and saw what CH4 decided to show, as I said you only have to read the descriptions they used to describe certain HM's compared to others.

It's all about creating characters. It's the BB producers job to portray events and housemates in an interesting way.. if you check the credits, you'll notice there are 'Storyline Editors' in there. I'm sure every housemate in there knew exactly what they were doing and saying. The only mugs are those who watched Big Brother and expected it to be completely equal, fair and honest. The housemates are the ones laughing all the way to the bank.. and good luck to them.

Just take BB for what it is... fluff.
