Wireless Dolby Digital

I would like to add DD 5.1 to my Toshiba SD2109 DVD - does anyone know of a complete decoder/amp/speaker kit that has wireless connection for the rear speakers?

As an alternative, I've been looking at the Philips 28PW9616 widescreen TV that has integrated Dolby Digital with wireless rear speakers - anybody have any experience of this setup? I'm not looking for the best quality available, just something decent and easy to set up.

Thanks,
Nick

As you should know when you get a surround amp, you have to get your own speaker wire (not a certain amount built into the speaker like crappy mini systems). So why don't you just get a load of speaker cable, and lay it under thefloorboards / carpet - you will get superb sound quality vs vague, hissy and in some cases crackly sound.

Don't whatever you do get wireless, it won't sound good at all! If you are going to spend money on an amp and speakers, don't skimp just because your partner does not want the sitting room looking like not as good! (but if you hide wires, the speaker will be just as "ugly" as wireless).

I have been there before... Don't get something with crap quality! Just hide your wires under the floorboards!!

BTW, How much are you looking to spend in total?

There are some very good flat speaker cables on the market now, some of which will even go under wallpaper. So if unsightly wires are the problem, then there are other solutions to wireless which incidently is interference prone and not a patch on 'hard wired' speakers.
