Can anyone confirm this? I don't read the papers. Did Jonny really take credit for 'saving' Kate?!?!?

I damn hope that is not what is reported. I shall buy the paper later and check out myself. Even Jonny's dad admitted he did wrong that night.

Big Brother were the ones who had to step in (twice!!) and get Jonny to stop and gave him instruction.

Yes, he did - I saw it, too. i couldn't believe it.. Haven't got it to hand now, but it saifd that Jade and Alex had gone to bed, and Jonny saved Kate by putting her in the recovery position.

Still, the good news is that Jonny is apparently attracting no big money offers, unlike the other three. I wonder why?

Ugh, Jade makes me feel ill, how can she be that bitter?
She said that she thought 'follow the van' was a disgusting game, yet she begged Alex to let her play it.
Kate told Jade to keep her clothes on, she was shocked when Jade was naked, as for the thong thing, Jade was exactly the same!

Cant you people read? Jonny DIDNT give an interview. It is a piece of reporting - and if you take the trouble to read down, you will see that it does mention Jade helping Kate and by and large the article is pretty accurate. BB DID call Jonny in to the DR to help Kate.

That's true aswell, it's great that Jonny should keep up his life saving skills once in the house. Kate must be indebted to him, I can't imagine how she must feel, now that she finds out her best mate in the house saved her life. wonderful

True, we knew what Johnny was like but this beggars belief! Did the Sunday Mirror just invent this, were they fed this information from BB/Endemol? They obviously can't have watched, like we did. I watched E4 on the night that Jonny saved Kate, what I saw, they were both sitting down on the floor, and he was trying to shove drink down her neck, and get her into the pool to strip off.

Jade was leaning on the worktop and Jonny was still trying to force Kate to drink, and then Jade said she has had enough Jonny, then Kate slumped to the floor, Jonny started dragging her by her arms, he didn’t put her in the recovery position, she fell herself into that position. Then he said to Jade she is in the recovery position, and that was it. And then he started again trying to pick her up. Then Kate got up and got herself a glass of water and stumbled to the bedroom, and then BB called Jonny, who was as pissed as Kate to come to the Diary Room, other then Jade who was sober, and then told Jonny to keep an eye on Kate, and then from there Jade took over, she looked after Kate while Jonny went and cooked himself a meal. If jade was a sleep that night who knows what would had happened. Jonny save Kate my foot

I thought the pic on the NOFTW was a real credit to the art of airbrushing hardly recognised Jade.

I will say though - and I AM NOT A jade fan and NOT trying to justify her nasty behaviour in any way - that it was really humbling and brought a lump to my throat about how her mum couldnt afford electricity...

OK it was a cynical ploy by the paper to show her in the best light (no pun intended!) but well, i dont know about anyone else but i was appalled that people could live in those conditions in this day and age.

As i said, not jumping on the "Oh lets forgive Jade anything she has had a tough upbringing" background, but well, it jsut really struck me as what a contrast her life has been to the other HMs, and probably most of us posting on this board come to that

Being a tad too hot in the Garden I came inside and surfed for reactions to Friday night etc. (bit sad I know but you should NEVER just stop taking a drug, you should come off gradually. ) Anyway, I can tell you I've read some unbelievable crap today and I have on each occasion e-mailed the paper concerned and gave my err... rather frank, opinion on what I thought of the article and the Chimpanzee that wrote it.

I recommend you do the same, gives you a kind of 'warm feeling' to get it off your chest. A flood of negative e-mails probably won't make them change but at least they'll know we aint fooled by their hackneyed crap.

Re part of your post above - after Friday's performance- I don't think we should get into a debate about the stupidity/gullibleness(is that a word?) of the BP. Not only did CH4/Endemol make mugs out of all of us who voted/multiple voted, but they also manipulated our views by their editing and censorship of much of the critical material in the show.

Irrespective of the outcome on Friday, I am saddened that so many of us (myself included) allow ourselves to be influenced in this way. This extends not just to BB but many aspects of media manipulation. The press, PR firms, TV, films etc all have a share of the guilt.

General elections have been won and lost not because a particular party's policies were deemed to be right for the nation but because of media spin and the power of persuasion.

Don't get me started on spin doctors (and I'm a New Labour supporter!)

I do like Jade but i think she's bitchy about Kate because shes jealous of Kate's attention of the lads (especially PJ!!)

Dont get me wrong....i do like Jade but shes only nasty to Kate cause of her popularity (with the lads)...

I havent read the article but Jonny did put Kate in the recovery position.

Bearing in mind the contents of the latter part of this thread ..ie Jonny saving Kate and its "truthfulness" why believe whats written in the first part .....journalists are notorious for writing things you didnt say and putting their own spin on them .
Jade likly said nothing of the sort and having watched Jade for 9 weeks I cant see her putting the "poor me" slant on her life story either .Papers love to make it sound good .
