Davina really comes over as not having any real understanding of what has been going on in the house - chances are because she does not.

For rehearsed / recorded interviews a presenter (which is all she is) can no doubt get away with the script and an ear piece. For these live eviction night interviews there is no substitute for in-depth preparation.

Hers appears to have been to read the tabloids and watch Graham Norton: whils that might be "in tune" with what the public have seen the HMs come from a different pace entirely.

How much did she get paid for the series? More than the winner I'll bet!!!

I agree that notice boards are infected and spoiled by nasty offensive people but was really trying to write idiomatically and aptly in my original -- speaking Latin in Rome and all that.
As for world problems we have to start somewhere and whether we start at the bottom (small matters) and work to the top or at the top and desire the positive effects to filter down I am not sure. I fear the problems are here to stay.
On a personal level I have no problem with Davina and the people she worked with. It is their status I object to. Not that I would want to spend one second in their company if the image is anything near the actuality. I perhaps neither have much objection to their employment as the world's cheapest and most useless actors/entertainers as long as it pays a fair and just wage and does not industrially insult the rest of society.
I deliberately missed the first two series of this monstrous show and tried the third out half way through to prove my own expectations of disgust.
If I had any sympathy at all it was with the Scottish man who snubbed it all; the half-German model who said he preferred the hated Scot and regretted participation in the show; and the posh man victim of intolerance. The winner just makes me ill.

You could have imagined him interviewing Jade on Friday night!

I think he's good at what he does and suitably cynical. I also think a Paxman-Jade encounter would be better entertainment than Paxman v most other people he's encountered.
