Around 600W-700W for 61" screen, 300W-400W for 42" screen.
Can't find many large CRT TVs, but for a 32" around 150-200W. Plasma TVs do use more power than LCD, but can't compare directly with CRT which are not as large. But a theoretical 61" CRT should use less power than a 61" plasma. Manufacturers websites with technical info (not in any order) : Panasonic Plasma TVs Sony Plasma TVs JVC Plasma TVs Philips Plasma TVs Samsung Plasma TVs Pioneer Plasma Tvs Toshiba Plasma TVs LG Plasma TVs NEC Plasma TVs Last edited by andy_tech : 17-01-2006 at 03:02. |
