Simple setup, but rubbish sound
I have a Sanyo WS TV and going into that on seperate scart is my digifusion FVRT200 PVR and my el cheapo DVD player. Simple as that.
Only problem is the sound quality is total mince. I have the sound cranked up on the TV & PVR just to hear it. I get major distortion (rattling of both speakers on the TV). Breakfast news on BBC One is the worst!!!! My mum has the same telly and pvr as me but her sound is good. Would a home cinema setup improve this or am I destined to crane my ears trying to hear what is on. I live on a main road so need the sound up quite high to cover the traffic. |

A home cinema would replace the TV sound... the requirement for watching "TV" using the home cinema is that either your TV has an audio out or you use a STB as your source.
If you can say yes to either of these then it would resolve your problem as your TV sound would be set to 0 |
