Torchwood Delayed
http://www.gallifreyone.com/news.php...ulyykljwgtQkNw
Shooting of the Captain Jack spinoff has been delayed from this month, to June/July. I'm a bit concerned that for the most part this new show will be shooting at the same time as the 3rd season of Doctor Who, just hope it doesn't spread people too thin. Wouldn't put money on it actually premiering in 2006 now. |

Not good news, especially when production personnel (James Hawes, producer?) have to bow out due to other commitments.

Do you think there's a chance that Torchwood will be scrapped?
Of course its probably John Barrowman and his Ice Skating competition thats interfering... |

I know OG is running this story, but has there been any official announcement from the BBC?
So far I haven't been able to find anything. |

What I do find worrying...is there a danger of over exposure for Who? We have the series, Torchwood, DW Confidential and now a programme on Fridays for kids. I know DW is flavour of the month at the moment and they most probably want to milk that for all it's worth but I hope they don't go too far in their pursuit of it. |

With this recent delay pushing it back to just before season 3/29 of Doctor Who should start shooting, I'm again starting to question whether Torchwood is actually a real show, or just an attempt to cover up what "Torchwood" really is, and how Jack returns from being stuck on the Gamestation at the end of last season. |

Think the expression of putting too many eggs in ones basket springs to mind. |

Ah, thankyou chaps.
![]() Does anyone else think the regular Confidential may be reduced to 15 minutes per episode in order to allow time for this new children's segment to be made? |

I think the kids confidential is a very good idea. The others weren't really kid-friendly.

Torchwood is supposed to be staffed by a dedicated production team, so I don't think anyone should be spread too thin.
