Now I am not gloating - there's enough of that already on these forums - but looking at todays papers I had great shock.

Alex has made it to the front page and Kate and Jade. There is also plenty of coverage of these 3 on the inside pages along with Spencer who has made a bit of a comeback.

BUT NO Jonny on the front page and so little on the inside pages.
Has he, unlike the others, been unable to sell his story ? Does anyone know ?

Are the tabloid editors unaware of the huge effort our Jonny made to get into the BB House. Of the even huger effort he made to stay in the House and to be loved and adored by all ?
Are Jonnys 15 minutes of fame over already ? Has public opinion already tired of him ? Answers please !

I think Jonny has done an article in one of the papers, but who the f**k wants to read about a no hoper like him.

The guy's a complete non-entity and with any luck will realise that coming second on BB is not an indication of popularity.

What does Alex have to say in his exclusive with the Sunday Express, anyone know?

He's probably finally drunk so much that he's fallen over in a corner somewhere in his patented recovery position, flat on his back with some delicious punch by his side.
No-one's noticed yet so if we don't mention it maybe he'll just crawl away quietly.

Well, more Joanne really, saying they're going to move in together, how she kept a diary during the series, how his family taped the whole BB experience etc.

Followed by a piece about how he was going to donate some money to the New York firefighters from his £70k.

Most interesting is the newspaper's highlights of his time in the House ... are they being bitchy or what? LOL

The Sun: Jade - "You're only supposed to bite your fingers, Jade!"
The Daily Star: Jade - "It's got to be Jade".

Can't find Jonny on any front page but I'm surpirsed that Alex only made the Express (and it wasn't a headline either it was a small box in the corner of the page)

I see it as all hype just after they have left the house they were saying all this the same things last year.

I can remember they were saying things about Dean having a No1 and how he would make loads of money.

And in the First one they were saying Darren would do a ad campaign for chicken tonite. and nothing came of that.

We will see what has happened in a year or so.

remember Anna in the first one 2 years down the line and finally she has got her own show on tv.

the only one whos been on a main channel show is Brian and you hardly heard anything from him when he first came out of the house he went into hidding for a while.

Craig's pretty nifty on the DIY shows because he has a skill to fall back on.

I'm sorry but the minute I hear the words Max Clifford I tend to think of the quick money making stories he's been so infamously involved with, the woman carrying eight children, the actress who had an affair with David Mellor...I doubt very much jonny will be tucking a million away in his bank account but I'm sure he'll earn enough to get what he wants, here's my new spin, does he want to earn enough to make him feel on a level pegging with his monetry more successful fiancee?

Helen ended up having a lot more newspaper coverage than Brian did last year... It doesn't change the fact that he won.

It's a shame such a rivalry is being created here. All this "Jade lost the battle, but will win the war" type stuff. If Jade is happy, and Kate is happy, and Alex is happy, and Jonny is happy, then they've all won.

Jonny is yesterdays news, no-one is remotley interested in that talentless little toad, he has the charm and wit of a frozen pea. You've had your little bit of fame now, the exit door is over there...

Isn't it the same Max Clifford that predicted Nasty Nick would make a million, who has now predicted Jade is going to make a million?

I can see down the line Jonny probably fronting a docusoap or fly on the wall program about firefighters, one profession that hasn't had this treatment yet.

Alex could probably be seen doing more public modeling work in the near future.

Kate is quite difficult to pigeon hole, though I did think she won for the right reasons. However Craig & Brian are still making decent TV appearences, not high profile but it's still much better than us mere mortals. My guess is that she will either go away quietly for good or she will be the new face of "ladettes" in the guise of Sara Cox and Zoe Ball. Unfortunatley for her the winding down of Film Four productions is a blow to any ambitions for her to act in UK movies.

Sophie I think will do quite well - good looks, experience in public relations, already does reporting for ri:se. She has a lot going.

However I don't see any of the housemates becoming a permenant fixture for programs for the 5 main channels, bar guest appearences.

As for Jade, she'll have disappeared off the tabloids within 10 days.

Going off topic for one second...
My name doesn't come from Butlins Holiday camp personell - I wouldn't lower myself to that level. It comes from stewarding public events (GAA & Soccer matches, Concerts etc.) in Ireland (North & South) where all of us wear red anoraks with the firm's name printed on it. The nickname we get are "Redcoats" hence the name!

The only thing use and them can be sure of right now is that they will be taking the papers and mags for all the money they can get and they will appearing as guests on shows.

The rest we will just have to wait and see

Mel from the first one didnt make the final but she gets regular tv work. even if its only chained.

Mel from BB1 got a Channel 4 series straight away and that is still running. She also reports for the BBCs holiday programme and other consumer shows.
