Best singles not to make the TOP 40
There are so many great singles that miss the TOP 40 every week at the expense of the 'hyped up manufactured cheesy pop acts' (bitter who me?
) but these are ones i loved which spring to mindCAMEO - A goodbye MICK JAGGER - Lucky in love and more recently REEF - All i want TEENAGE FANCLUB - I need direction Anyone else have favourites? |

A Camp - I can buy you
One of the best songs of last year. I pretty certain it didn't get into the Top 40. |

A-ha's latest single Lifelines went in at 78 and dropped out of the top 100 the following week.
Shame as its a good record. |

Bryan Adams latest song came in quite low and that was brilliant!
Bet Angelles 'Joy & Pain' will come in low, but that song rules! and she is gorgeous. Its just not hyped enough

Yep, i thought there would be many examples.
Hayden30, the LEAVES song was superb as others have been from them, hopefully they will get more recognition. Have you or any others heard of a band called MEW? They are Danish i think and have a fantastic song called 'Am i Wry? No' which i think is sheer class, not sure if it has been released yet. Sadly it might sink without trace but if its a smash of course tell folk you heard it from me first
