Sony RDR-HX510 - Editing Title Names
'Born74
17-01-2006
Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the date and time of a title recorded to the HDD with this model?

I can see it's possible to change the title name, but it seems the date/time is system driven.

I've got a load of stuff on VHS that I want to transfer to HDD and onto DVD and would like to store the original date if possible.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hi

It is possible to delete all recorder generated information in the title but the time, date etc. which is shown below the title remains whatever. This information is similar to that added to a DVD when it is recorded. I put any date, time etc. I require in the title so that it is recorded when dubbed. You are, however, restricted to the number of characters that will be shown.

Regards
