Another interesting point, is that it was only voted for by E4 viewers. Those more than likley to have a full and unbiased view of things.

I couldn’t agree more on this. It’s a simple fact that Alex had threatened throughout his time in the house that after he exited the house he would ‘immediately’ leave for modelling assignments outside of the UK. This would have concerned Big Brother because he would be no use to them in terms of after-show publicity beyond the obligatory 1 week grace period. Also your valid point about what he might have said may just have worried them so the decision was taken to force Jonny or Kate up the ladder by hiding a lot of their negative moments and fooling the public into voting for them.

The truth is that with hindsight the public would more than likely have made Alex or Jade the winner.

Pehaps a chance for true BB fans to pick there winner.

It would have been interesting if there was a poll just for E4 viewers to vote the winner, I'm sure the result would've been somewhat different to the official one.

Each "award" seemed to have been voted for by different groups, E4, Official BB3 site goers, Heat mag. etc

each audience with their own outlook

Yes it's a shame they cannot let us know the results of the voting on the interactive that would indicate who E4 viewers wanted to win.

Looks like the Alex posse are demanding a recount of all E4 interactive votes, had a feeling this would happen.

Well E4 viewers had the advantage of dismissing tabloid reports on BB. It's almost as though the reporters watched different events to me at times.

Also C4 editing didn't effect us either.

E4 viewers made their decision based on what they saw and heard, with little interferance from the editors.

Not really just pointing out the facts.

Alex won the final poll on here by a mile. 44% of the vote.

Again a poll by bb fans who were in control of most of the facts. Way more so than someone who just read the papers and watched the highlights.

Regarding the E4 voting I had already mentioned elsewhere that 343k votes were shared interactively between Kate and Jonny (taking into consideration that some of those votes may have also been cast interactively during the Jonny and Kate final voting) and over 500k between Jade and Alex, I think it does have some bearing on the fact who watches E4 and C4.

He may have won the DS poll, but he lost the poll that counted (fact).

Please try and get over it, it'll do you no good continuing to clutch at straws. Looking down your nose at people who 'just read the papers and watch the highlights' has been a rather annoying trait of a number of Alex fans to date.

The DS poll in the end proved meaningless, it bore absolutely no comparison to the end result. I believe that alex fans viewed the DS poll as gospel and took little consideration of others viewpoints, consequently this left a warm feeling of security which was blown out of the water by reality.
Judging by some of the posts since, this has left a lot of bitter people behind. There is nothing wrong in having a favourite but dont dismiss others because of your personal dislike of them!

If the rumours are true Alex is clutching at £ notes, not straws.
If looks matter and money talks he's the only winner, especially as he can also regain his public anonymity in another country.
Alex will make oodles of money doing more of what he did before.
All the others will spend a few weeks being photographed thinking their lives have changed.
They won't have.

That is the point I'm trying to make. Those with all the facts voted very differently to those only with access to C4 and the media.

If you take those Alex Hating shades off, you might see that.

I'm not denying Kate won. No one is. I'm just highlighting the different overall choice of the informed to that of the media fed.

I think the statistics I mentioned above already prove that to some degree but the Alex haters on here don't like to admit it.

The problem with some people is that they always feel people are bitter and twisted especially if they supported your least favourite HM. I have also noticed on this forum that when anyone writes a post and it is favouring Alex, Jade etc then personal attacks are made, I don't often see this happen when something about Jonny or even Kate is made, I think that shows what type of character that person is.

I never even looked at the DS poll, was a complete waste of time but I did have E4 and judged the HM's on what I saw and I saw a damn lot more in one day than was cram packed into what C4 had to offer, I only watched a bit of C4 just to see exactly what they would show and I felt they certainly missed a lot out.

Put your crayons away TK. I know lots of people who have E4 who felt like I did. I see your point but it is a point which cannot be proven. You are assuming that only e4 viewers voted alex and non e4 viewers voted plebs! I think that assumption cannot be substantiated.
p.s. I dont hate alex, I dont like him but dont hate him. I dont particularly like jonny but fought against the constant slagging off he and others received on here (and nowhere else i may add!).

Of course it can't be proved. Out of 500 votes on here 44% voted for Alex. 23%ish for Kate. Wasn't really close was it?

I never called anyone a pleb. All I'm saying is that the majority of the voters didn't get a picture of the HM's for themselves. The majoirty were fed by a media which made up stories at will and C4 which we all know regualry showed HM's in very different lights to what really happened.

You want to dispute that fact?

I know your bitter that Alex is going to make loads of dosh but try and get on with your life and don't hold any grudges.

500 votes! are you serious? this has no bearing whatsoever on the real vote, This is a pro alex forum therefore useless and inadequate in assessing voter response. As for your 'FACT' i would dispute it vehemently. never before has so much information about the HM's been available to the GBP, they make up their own minds and you dont seem able to accept that!
