Hi - don't know if anyone with a Toshiba can help me, I lost the manual to ours long ago...

I have a 21" Toshiba telly, purchased about 3 years ago.

A few times recently the telly has suddenly lost its picture, with just a thin horizontal white line in the middle of the screen. Turning off and on again doesn't make any difference. It lasts for about 10 minutes then suddenly goes back to normal.

When this happens the light with a clock icon next to the power indicator comes on.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have an intermittent frame collapse, most likely caused by a dry joint somewhere in the line drive circuit. Only cure is to have it looked at by someone that knows their way around with a soldering iron.
