Ralph McTell - "In the Dreamtime" - from album Red Sky

I am desperately searching for the above track, "In the Dreamtime" by Ralph McTell. It's the original version of the song as sung by Billy Connolly over the end credits of "World Tour of Australia".

I've googled around and found the album it's from (Red Sky), but availability is very limited on Amazon. There is one copy on eBay at the mo, but seeing as the artist doesn't get any royalties from second hand CDs I might as well try to find an mp3 version to download from somewhere/someone (also as I only want the one track, not the whole album). Sadly no matches in Kazaa or Limewire.

Are there any Ralph McTell fans out there who can help me?

Just wanting to bump this as I'm still looking. The one on eBay went for about £17 in the end.

Can you contact the channel that broadcast the programme to see if they can help you.

Yes, thank you

I did send an email back to you as well, but in case you didn't get it:

“Magic. Just magic.

Such a beautiful song; I first heard it watching repeats of Billy Connolly on cable and got the name Ralph McTell from the end credits. Turned out to be very difficult to track down on the net though - but I find posting on DS can answer most things!

Thank you so much, and like I said, if I can repay the favour in future with anything from my collection, just give me a shout.

Cheers,
Simon (ninebob).”
