You must be joking!! He's so miserable. I'm not an Alex fan from what I've seen of him in the house BUT I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt when he left the house AND I still think the same, he was so boring and just as miserable!
He knew what he was letting himself in for when he entered the house but he refused to answer most questions that were put to him on a personal level and I believe the story about him at the aftershow party, it's the way he is. He may get offered work but it's likely to dry up once they get to know the real Alex. I can imagine him refusing to do something they want him to do and he'll end up just like the runner up of Model behaviour last year...she was moaning because the weather was too cold hence losing. I wonder why he lost his modelling contract, probably some reason along the same lines.

Hi everyone ...

Well ... if Jezza needs someone to come to his defence then I'm a banana!

Anyone else remember me awarding him points on Friday as he flitted from thread to thread insulting people???

If you're still around, Jezza ... Hiya! and sorry that I had to go home on Friday before my work was done. :'(

I admit to being a fan of Alex and being hugely surprised that he didn't win. However, would the non-Alex fans be gracious in defeat if their chosen housemate had not won? I suspect not.

NO ONE has a problem with Jonny coming second! It's just that you, fatherjack, and Jezza have a problem coming to terms with the fact that HE LOST! Neither do we have a problem with Alex losing. He did. What 'fans' are still discussing is that Alex from the whole show context was a more deserving winner, and we argue why. Maybe even Jade from a contribution and an entertainment point of view. Now YOU get over it, and if you don't like the debate, please please please play eslewhere.
”

I wanted Kate to win, so I'm happy enough. And no, you DON'T just discuss Alex and Jade -you, in particular have been very fond of saying how Jonny lost in BIG BOLD FONTS! over and over and over again! I'm just replying to you and others in the same manner - that Jonny came second, Jonny did what you obviously thought was impossible, he actually beat Alex to second place. So, if you can say how happy you are that Jonny lost, I have the right to say how happy I am that Alex lost and well done to Jonny for coming second.

As for you're 'childish' go-play-elsewhere remark. Well, back at ya, kiddo!

( wormy little impostor )

Harry enfield used to parody a Yorkshire business man in his sketches, usually starting with the line, or at least incorporating it ..."Im goin to ave to stop you there because your starting to talk sh**e"!

LOL

I don't remember those particular sketches - but I can just imagine him doing the character and I can see myself using that line several times in the near future...

Funny how Alex won the best moment award for a clip of one of the many times he has played up to the camera (see diary room clips, hiding outside etc etc).

As Jonny and Kate were criticised so much for doing this on this forum, then I guess we should be hearing lots of moans and groans from Alex fans about their favourite boy's behaviour??

Theres a difference.

What Alex did to win that best moment was not planned for the cameras it just happened and everything fitted together at the right moment alex hid behind the door Kate came in looked for Alex then closed the door showing Alex just as the song started up it was just great timing that you couldnt plan.

Jonny and Kate use to plan waht they were going to do they would say things like lets do the one legged dance or something else to get camera time.

Alexs was just natural humour theirs was false.

As a non Alex fan, I agree with you on this occaision. It was great timing for Alex & it did make me laugh. Also Alex falling asleep on the kitchen work top & then talking to himself was funny. But it stops there.

He is not as funny as Kate & Jonnie in general

I'm finding it a bit weird that housemates can be criticised for whether or not they played to the camera, when the entire phenomenon is based around the idea that cameras are watching your every move. I found it quite entertaining when they occasionally made a comment to the cameramen.

I think when people talk about Jonny playing to the cameras, I think they mean he was behaving as if he was a different person to the person he is outside. Have I got that right? If so, that's possibly true, but it doesn't have to have sinister connotations. Is it preferable that he assaults his fellow HMs when he's in a bad mood? Or is it better to control some of his more negative side?

As to whether Kate and Jonny were more amusing than Alex and Jade I think that just has to be personal sense of humour. For example I laughed loads more at things Alex said than Kate, but then Alex and Jade together reminded me of the sort of comedy shows like Harry Worth, and "Hugh and I", that I was brought up with, or "Is It legal" which was more recent, whereas Jonny and Kate I thought were more like, perhaps Scrubs or Friends, which don't match my sense of humour.

Exactly! He did not try to hide his character defects. This is what I meant by his being genuine.
The story about him at the aftershow party is false all of the named participants have denied it happened.

The "Model Behaviour" model in question has recently been awarded a far more lucrative contract than the winner of the competition was. So it would seem that the modelling industry does not put that much value in having a certain type of personality. This makes sense to me, it being an image industry.

Yeah...but I wasn't talking about personality. Even if he had a great personality but moaned about the work he had to do, I'm sure people would get fed up with him and dump him!
