I personally can recommend The Brand New Heavies, Incognito and Snowboy as some of my favourite acid jazz artists, do have a listen to some of their tracks. They may even play one or two Incognito songs on Jazz FM too.

Squarepusher's 'Music is rotted one note' is a superb acid jazz album, nothing like his IDM stuff.

And the new Miles Davis' Cellar Door boxset is well worth buying..

I was in Amsterdam last weekend and caught a concert on TV called the North Sea Jazz show. It was awesome, check out a lady called Candy Dulfer she is brilliant and plays the saxaphone. She is also really hot.

I do agree, I have heard a number of songs on Jazz FM and she is brilliant. May I also suggest (in smooth jazz terms) the artists Brian Culbertson and George Duke, highly recommended.
