Hello,

I just posted here:
http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...d.php?t=331469
saying that my Sony PFM-42B1 is on the blink.

Assuming it goes - and it's looking like it will - I would ideally like to replace it with something with at least three digital connections. I currently use a Mac mini as a hub for everything (a DVB tuner is connected to it) so I would like DVI but of course HDMI would be fine. But I figure I also need an HDMI port for a games console or Blu-Ray player, and another for a Sky HD box. I'm only seeing screens with a maximum of two HDMIs, like the Pioneers for example.

Decent picture is a given, but can anyone recommend something? I would prefer a built-in digital tuner but a tuner-less flat panel like I currently have would be fine too. It needs to be at least 37". I have a mild preference for LCD, but it is mild.

Any tips much appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

There are very few if no UK HDTVs out there with more than one HDMI input.. The only options to switch up HDMI is to go for a switcher or via a higher end AV amp.

Only ones I can think of are the new Toshiba LCDs - WLT58 range I think - which have 2 HDMI + a DVI. screens with 2 HDMI ports that aren't ludicrously expensive are pretty rare for now.

You could of course buy any old HDMI LCD and a gefen HDMI switchbox. Probably cheaper in the end.

Yes I saw it recommended. It's on my list if my Sony dies imminently as the VGA plus the two HDMI is not far off my needs. But dammit, I want three digital inputs!
