In response to the thread, yes I did see Alex on RI:SE and agree with you. Alex looked very good on the show and well Jonny looked like the hasbeen he is.

I was also browsing through the tabloids on sunday and noticed a article in the News Of The World basically agreeing with us. Why can't we all just get along

I was a huge Alex fan, but the show is over. He lost. It was a shame, because I wanted him to win. But he didn't. I am still interested to see how his career progresses but I can't see any reason to wish Kate, Jonny or Jade any bad luck, or to slag off their fans.

On a light-hearted note - and this is in no way meant as an attack on anyone - if you put up a vote for the nation's favourite fast-food restaurant, you'd probably find MacDonald's would win. But if someone were to express a preference for Burger King, does it make any sense to slag them off for prefering the "wrong" fast-food joint?!! Kate won it by a large majority, but I think everyone should still be entitled to have their favourites!!

Eastenders pulls in millions more viewers than "Scrubs" but I'm buggered if I'm going to start admitting that Eastenders is a better programme just because it is more popular!

BTW - did Alex and Jonny seem to be getting on OK? Although the odds are apprximately zero-squared, I would love it if they became good mates. Perhaps that would put in perspective the ridiculous scwabbling between "Alex-haters" and "Jonny-haters" on these boards...

I think its going to take Alex fans a little while longer to reflect on the stupidty of of the general public but im sure were get over it soon.

The reason for the continued arguments on the board is because every time a Alex thread is posted regarding his post big brother success we get the usual handful of muppets with the usual "Alex lost, get over it" etc. Alex may have lost the gameshow but we still should be able to discuss his post big brother news in peace.

Alex may have lost the show but im sure in the long run he will be the only winner

Why not try practicing what you preach? Ever since I came onto this forum sticking mainly to the Alex threads and a few fun ones have had you making comments to everything that is said by Alex supporters.

Your obsession with going through every thread dedicated to Alex to bug those posting in support of him show you are only here to wind people up. I don't go through the Jonny threads insulting the supporters there but we are constantly harrassed on the Alex threads.

While yes the actual voting is over and a winner is declared the supporters of each HM should be able to sit and discussed with others with the same likes/dislikes of the programme.

Thankyou Denise - I really think the wli - not to give him his full nickname - because all he seeks is attention - is secretly obsessed with Alex and his fans, as they are much more interesting to be around than his own group.

I got to disagree with this statement. If Alex fans' start a thread about his possible success - fair enough - let's discuss Alex's fame. But most pro-Alex threads involve slagging off Jonny or any other HM in the same sentance, phrase, paragraph, etc. The other fans have a valid arguement to reply against these sort of remarks (even if in my eye, some replies seem very very immature - mention no names).

Peace - only works if all sides agree to stop the slagging!
