I can certainly do this with my Panasonic TV but you have to switch between the windows to ensure both are on the correct input... so for me to do this the main window being on Sky (AV5) and the sub window on the internal tuner.

On my LG (RZ-37LZ31) you have to go into the menu and choose the inputs you want to use.

I have'nt used it much on mine, when I get a chance I will test it on what ever inputs are available and let you know what happens.

The LG 32'' Widescreen in our shop you simply press PIP for picture in picture.

You then use the fast text buttons to change the picture.

I think....

RED is Channel down
GREEN is Channel up
YELLOW is swap the picture in picture with the main screen
BLUE is input, press this to go through AV1, AV2 and so on.

Using an LG RZ37LZ30
must be doing something wrong
I have the aerial which is a community system going into the TV aerial socket and Scart leads from the Pace 430 directly into the TV Scart sockets.
I can only get one picture at a time I can switch from the main to the smaller picture but cant get both at the same time.

Just found out why I had not used this much. On mine the only input options are RGB PC and DVI. Just checked the manual and it should be any of the inputs. AV1, AV2 Tv etc.
Looks like a call is needed to LG

My LG 32" PIP works fine, comes in very handy when parnter wants to wants TV and I want to play a game, we just share half of the screen each, granted I lose out and cannot have any sound from my X-Box. Plus we can switch picture to left or right depending on where we are sat.
