That menu is the goly grail of menus!
why didn't thomson have this menu in as an "advanced" menu for experienced users only from day one.... would have sorted out the yld a long time ago! I always new the yld would have been something to do with corrupted EPG data... and giving the user the ability to delete it and get on a use the box even with limited now and next would have been brilliant. I understand that these tools are powerful, like format HDD etc... and in the wrong hands you could loose all your recordings etc.. hence why product managers probably decided to remove the menu, but you can do more damage with a PC and loose more important stuff!
By the way my unit temp is 33degC, HDD 100degC!
