The papers over the weekend have given much more coverage to the also rans than to Kate the winner, Last year it was very much the same but centered on Helen & Paul rather than Brian, This year being a much closer race the attention is being split four ways with at the moment Jade comming out as a clear winner with inches of coverage (in the newspapers).

The real test is where they will be next year.

This thread epitomises the nasty, vindictive, bitter and spitefull side of alex fans, not all but most! you have absolutely nothing positive to say about anyone just because poppy got his a**e kicked! Grow up the lot of you, He lost, live with it. Continue to support him by all means but dont drag others through the crap just to make him look good because if he is THAT good, surely you dont need to deride others?

I can't speak for the others but I'm not an Alex fan. Nor am I a fan of people who post bitter and twisted comments in the middle of a harmless, lighthearted thread.

This is my second post on this forum. You and several others responded very unkindly to my first post just because I voiced, very politely, some reasons why, when dealing with a drunken Kate, Alex was viewed in different light to Jonny .

You seem to want to be agressively unpleasant to every poster who offers an opposing view.

By the way, you know how Kate told Jonny, just before the winner was announced, that falling down spontaneously was getting old. I think the same could be said of your "(wormy little imposter)".

I’m starting to worry about some people, slagging off Alex at any opportunity along with the people who like him. To have this much anger seems to show a much deeper emotion, we all know Alex can show a more feminine side sometimes, perhaps really you fancy him. Unfortunately Alex is not gay (I went to school with him and have known him for years) so you’re out of luck. (Message intended not only for fatherjack, but for anyone with a needlessly sharp tongue out there, think about the repercussions before you speak so harshly).

I whole heartedly agree with you that bitching about any of the housemates is unwelcome here or anywhere else but I find it unfortunate that you had to bring the issue of peoples sexuality into the argument. I think sexuality is totally irrelevant in these discussions as are personal attacks on any of the housemates or posters.
I think what we are seeing here is immature people who are unable to accept their particular favourite didn't win and who have nothing better to do than bitch about it.

You seem to have completely missed the point. None of us care wether you know Alex or not, what Father Jack was pointing out (and doing so rather well) is that Alex's supporters (on here at least) have been nasty and vindictive. They were happy to slag off all other housemates and try and knock anyone who could be seen to be more fun than their darling Alex.

Before jumping into threads and posting odd comments about your (supposed) friend, you should try and see some of the history going on here.

BTW you showed how small minded you are by accusing others of fancying him and implying that their sexuality be called into question.

I personally didnt like the way that Alex conducted himself within the house, he was boring and unflexable when it came to others wants and needs.

Welcome, Noone, despite appearances to the contrary sometimes, this is a very interesting forum with lots of interesting posters (there are a few idiots on it) but it is worth bearing with.

I have to say that I have had lots of "heated discussions" with fatherjack but when I received a very upsetting post from one of my own side the other night, he was very comforting (I know this is hard to believe, but its true ). I think Alex lost because the general public didnt think he was positive enough in his desire to win. yes..he was honest about that, but in the end, the public vote for someone who wants to win.
