Anyone have any ideas where I can source the NTSC/PAL/SECAM tuner for the Sony LCD? I have the American version but it only contains an NTSC tuner and they just go blank when I ask for the NTSC/PAL unit. I know that the European model (KDL-V32A12U) has the tuner I need and is exactly the same as the US model (KDL- V32XBR1). I've called a couple of UK dealers but they insist I bring the TV in for them to repair - quote ' we don't sell parts to the public' unquote!!!!

Why not just purchase the Sony VTX-D800U - its slim, can hide in the background and can control your TV too... best of all its super fast (just like the new KDL TVs) and the picture via a good quality SCART will be very good
