I think....

The idea of Kate and Alex hooking up and becoming BBs Posh and Becks is a very attractive one in some ways. It would be a sort of marketing dream. But don't worry Jade, your tabloid column inches are safe 'cos it ain't very likely.

In the house they had quite a complex relationship. It's true that most of their liasons were fueled by drink but they both kept coming back for more right up to the last night. How many drunken 'mistakes' can you make with the same person? They seemed to fancy each other but neither appeared to think the other good enough or suitable for them. A bit sad really especially in Alex' case (the worst offender) 'cos if he got down off his high horse, uncorked the Black Tower, he could have (had) a lot more fun with Kate.

Who knows what will happen in the future? If Kate wants Spencer then I hope it works out for her, she seems like a great girl. And if Alex is ever astute enough to lament 'the one that got away' at least he can take comfort that nobody is now debating whether he is gay or not!

We just wait and see

This Spencer/Kate/Alex stuff is getting too much. It's almost as if we're back to week 4 and debating who should go, Alex or Spence.

Give it a year, and Kate will probably be with Adele. Now that would make me laugh.

On the last night Alex when dancing with Jade did say he wouldn't of minded having a dance with Kate and when they were all bathing together he asked Kate to come next to him and he also kissed the back of her neck. In his interview with OK he has said Kate was good to be with without Jonny in tow and I think that is the cause of the problem her loyalty to Jonny. Still they are free now and only time will tell if things are ever resolved between them. However Alex wants to have a good look at his actions towards Kate that led up to the last nomination (The only one since FTV was initiated) and see that he was more two faced than she was. Also she had felt that Alex wanted her out rather than PJ and Tim who was jealous of the relationship only made matters worse. The way he goes on about her and how she mentions his name several times this week could be a sign that they are still thinking of eachother.

btw now that we're really getting into it i have an argument that counters the drunken flirting bit
remember the night that jade got v. jealous of kate-alex playing FTV and called her her a whore
well that was the night after kate's drunken binge with jonny when he acted like a perv
kate had not had one drop to drink that night, whereas alex, jade and jonny had
she was completely sober and made the effort to jump over to his side of the bed - alex even threw her the van (not realising she was next to him on the other side of his bed)
kate also jumped back into bed with alex before jade eventually f*cked it up by going on about katie doing rude things with the boys - remember our katie was SOBER that night

Alex said in the OK! Interview that most of the time, it was to wind up Jade. Complete nonsense of course, but this incident was the one time when they did do it to wind her up. Absolutely nothing happened.

The most intimate thing to ever happen between the two of them was the Saturday after Tims eviction when Alex asked if he could join her in Tims double bed. He got in and they just cuddled. No stupid van. Nothing really sexual, just a cuddle... It was only when the van came out, and Jonny started mucking about that it was over with.

I'm still of the opinion that Kate was just lonely, and wanted a bit of a cuddle and a kiss, and Alex was just desperate to get the girl that he lost in week 1, as well as being lonely and in need of a cuddle.

ok so why didn't kate go for a cuddle and kiss with jonny, pj or tim?
or for anyone else apart from maybe spanky?
and if she was playing a manipulative game with alex why was she all over him the last week when there were no nominations - and anything she did with alex would have looked to her detriment?

The media are bound to be aware that half the country are
wishing Kate onto Alex or Spencer,
they surely are going to keep this going by spying on them when the advertising drive has stopped.

Will they be chased by the papparazzi across Germany and England?

And will Alison be spotted on various corners in the background of the newsflashes?

sadly i think that nothing will happen between them as they won't have the benefit of seeing all the live coverage we have
alex is too stuck in his ways and his parents obviously hate kate for the way she allegedly played him
it appears the housemates he got on well with who know the whole truth are against a kate-alex tie-up (tim because he hates that fact that kate never paid him any attention, adele coz she fancies the arse of alex, and jade bcoz she does too and is jealous of kate)
so all in all i see spanky and kate as more likely to get it together as they have been more open to some degree about their feelings
but still can't help thinking that she would have preferred to get it on with alex at the end...

Everybody peeps, this is all getting rather romantic. Didn't Alex have complex relationships with some people in the House - it was very difficult to read some of them.

Personally, I didn't think Kate and Alex liked each other much, although there was a sexual attraction. I remember Alex's face when Kate said if she had to be naked in the House with someone she would chose Alex. He was so pleased. Alex flatters very easily which would appear to be down to low self-esteem. I don't think he like being judged on his looks alone - which I why I feel he shut Kate up on the last night when she said Alex is fit.

Relationships in the House appear to be more intense than in the real world. I think Alex said in one of his interviews that he only felt like a real person in there when he was having a kiss or a cuddle (or words to that effect). Now they are all back in the real world I doubt many of the relationships will last (maybe some of the friendships), But I don't see either Alex or Kate or Kate and Spencer as another Helen and Paul. With them you could see a genuine relationship building up in front of your eyes.

And not a little bit 'reach for the bucket inducing' if I may say so. As has been said why not just wait and see instead of making wild assumptions about what the, now ex, HMs were, and now are, thinking or feeling?

I think it was the night of the dinner party that Alex said that women quite often wanted him only for sex and that's why he didn't trust women.

I'm a girl and I know I'm meant to be all romantic but some of these posts are so vomit inducing! I wonder why some people are so desperate to see those two together?

He's probably got some girl in Germany already!
