All the more reason to make as much money as fast as possible - if I was in their position (and I am very glad I am not) then I would want to be earning as much money from as few appearances as possible. Their agents are obviously thinking like this.

They don't do this for our good you know they do it because they want to get rich and famous - they haven't got a cat in hells chance of being much more than Z-list celebs so they should be seeking to maximze the money - and what is wrong with that

I think alot of why Alex and Jade werent on radio 1 is because they have signed deals with the papers Jade is getting paid 500,000 from the Murdoch group so I imagine they have complete rights to her for that money.

And Alex is signed to the Express and OK mag they tried to get Jade for 300,000 so I imagine Alex got just as much for signing for them. plus other deals in the pipeline.

I dont blame then for milking as much money as they can frorm the papers after all they were milking them when they were in the house.

The wonderful Alex and the magnificent Jade "lost" the event... and the 70,000 pounds that go with it.... shame, but I'm sure the six-figure media offers, plus 7-figure advertising contracts will ease their pain. It just proves that the papers think that Alex and Jade were the real characters in the house, and that people will be interested to read about them. They don't throw that kind of money around, if they can't see it boosting their circulation figures.

If I remember correctly, it was a competition as to who would get the most votes by the general public, not who may make the most money.

There seem to be alot of people unable to accept that alex / jade / the chickens lost out to kate in fridays vote. Suddenly a new set of rules is adopted; the vote didn't matter, its who gets the biggest paper deal, who gets the largest cheque for an endorsement. These people are sad. When people "debate" their favourite movie star you don't hear "it must be Cruise cos he got $20 million for MI2 and Willis didn't get half that for his last movie". This is getting like a forum for boyband discussion "I like Westlife best cos they're the fittest and wear the best clothes".
Its pathetic. For the last month Jonny and Kate get bashed for being "Wannabes" and now its over apparantly its about who will get the best post BB career, the Alex / Jade faction have turned into wanna-them-to-bes!
Grow up, the real winner was Kate, she got the most votes. The best thing about democracy is that the majority decide.
