Goo Goo Dolls
Are there any Goo Goo Dolls fans out there in DS Land?
I've only recently discovered them, but I really like what I've heard so far My fave songs so far are Slide and Iris, but I much prefer the version with Avril Lavigne, I think the song really suits a female voice.I was wondering if anyone could recommend me an album of theirs to buy? Obviously I'd buy them all if I could, but I don't have the money ![]() Thanks peoples

Yeah Dizzy Up The Girl is probably the best choice. It also has two other great songs on it in the form of January Friend and Broadway

Love the Goo's!
They have a really good live album which is sort of like a Greatest Hits if you don't mind the crowd singing along: Live at Buffalo it's called. Otherwise would go with Dizzy - but get saving for the others ![]() You might also like Three Doors Down and Vertical Horizon. |

Ooh I love them! Loved them for years. I'd sell my grandmother to be able to see them play live. They've got a new album out in April, which I'm dying to get.
You seem to like the most popular tunes. Slide is my all-time favourite song ever. They did do an album (Everything I learned about ego, opinion, art and commerce) which is sort of a 'best-of' album, but with all the less popular tracks. I'm making it sound rubbish, but it really isnt. It's a bit of time line, showing how they've evolved. Love matchbox 20 too. Have you heard push? I think its amazing! And I have a beautiful song they did in their old band called Loss, Strain and Butterflies. |

Early Valentine's Day present to myself I think, one of the good things about being single... well, it's a good excuse anyway ![]() Push is a brilliant song, I love so many of their songs, but Push and Back 2 Good are probably two of my faves! Time to listen to some Goo Goo Dolls I think

Yep - big fan of Matchbox 20. I think they're going to be doing some new stuff too. There is a Rob Thomas interview on iTunes where he says Matchbox 20 will return!

3am was the first mb20 song I ever heard, and it was so sweet. Disappointed by the video though! And Iris was the first ggd song I heard, which I still love, but Slide is definately my favourite. Saying that, I love some of their older stuff. If you're gone and Kody are totally underrated though! And theres a ggd song called Girl Right Next To me which I just think is fabulous!
