if you look at the teeny number around the centre hole, A0100649621-A925 is good. If it's, A0100647133-A924, the chances are it's the faulty version.

Sorry for the late reply - I got my replacement CD a few days ago and it now seems to work fine, although it still freezes momentarily when the Doctor says "sorry" - I thought I had another dodgy disc?

Re the problems others have had with the BBC emails I used dvd.support@bbc.co.uk with no problems I 've not come across the bbcdvd@absolutequality.co.uk address.

ok ive given up, got a new set from Amazon, however neither set will play past the BBC intro, and am sending both back
