I only sort of skim read the interview as I was meant to be doing work at the time, but the last line says something about him... "definitely being on the Doctor's side... I don't align myself with the Daleks."

Now Derek claims to have been a huge fan since it started, and I know some people who don't watch Doctor Who immediately do a Dalek impression as if that's all that's ever in it... so i'm wondering... are they going to appear in the next series...? Or is his remark just a flippant one referring to the fact that everyone associates the Daleks with the baddie in Doctor Who.
