Id like to say she doesn't have the talent but I find myself believing that she managed to 'act' her way through BB extremely well. I've read a lot of posts criticising jonny, but Ito his absolute credit he has well surpassed Kate in the final day and since coming out. I wonder if any Kate voters have now wished they didn't? If what we saw is the genuine thing then she needs a good image builder, appearing more and more calculating.

I actually think that Kate would suit Eastenders. She has the right look like Mel did. Attractive and sexy but not model status, so she looks believeable in the east end!
I could easily picture Kate walking down Albert Square.
I think she's gone to Drama school, so she probably isn't any less trained than most of the young actors on the show.
I wish people would stop looking down on people who have come from a Reality TV show, its just someones way of getting a lucky break.

I wonder if s/he did and that is why the offer was made. To see whether Daddy was just saying that for effect or whether she actually would try for it .....

I like the way people say she doesn't have enough talent to do it... How many plays have you seen her in to judge? She's obviously pretty good, as she did get an A in Drama (although, granted, for all I know, that could be pretty simple)... That kid who plays Jamie had no prior acting experience, and I actually think he's okay. It's a shame her Dad said that, and hopefully that's just his view (I know my dad thinks pretty much the same)... I haven't watched eastenders in a while, but some of the actors were/are very good.
I doubt it's true though. I've heard a few people say she reminded them of Tamzin (god knows why), but I doubt a show like Eastenders is going to try and find a direct replacement for her, and I certainly doubt they'd use someone from Big Brother
I would imagine Brookside or Hollyoaks offering her a job, but Eastenders? Nah.

DO YOU THINK SHE CAN ACT WELL BECAUSE SHE LOOKS ATTRACTIVE & SEXY? Maybe people are looking down because they have seen no evidence of acting skills. Messing about in the House does not count. If she really wanted to be an actress why isn't she one?
Mind you her performance in the house would have put Meryl Streep to shame, without even using onions lol,sorry showing my age now!!
I didn't think it was true... But Kate certainly has acting experience, which is more than can be said about certain members of the eastenders cast, as I have pointed out.

I agree. I could see Hollyoaks offering her a job cos they don't really use real actors. I heard they wanted to give a part to Will Young's twin brother. What about the real actors/actresses who actually train?
