People who hate BB
Art Vanderlay
30-07-2002
People who hate BB really get on my nerves.

They feel the need to slag off the viewers, the contestants and the programme on some kind of anti - intellectual basis.

Why can't they just accpet that a huge proportion of the country enjoyed it and get on with watching BBC4 ?

I don't slag off their choice of programme, but they feel the need to belittle my choice on every radio show (Simon Mayo yesterday for example) and TV critic (Ally Ross - how 2 faced does he want to be?????)

If you don't like it, then fine. I have no problem with that.

But don't make me out to be of low intellect or a sub species just because I happen to have enjoyed it.

(Mind you, I do find people who take it a bit tooooooo seriously slightly concerning)

So which BB HM had the most Seinfeldian qualitities then? (After all, Alex has already been termed Shakespearean in the Observer).
