Also, could the first girl to claim that she's bi-sexual be automatically evicted.

Thank you.

Well, I think that all the people who want to go on BB, who just happen to have a disability, should go to the auditions anway if only to make a point.

It is an absolute disgrace that disabled people appear to be discriminated against in this way. If it is a simple matter of the tasks, then the tasks should be adapted to accommodate this.

I believe Endemol have trotted out the task excuse before-I think this is a smokescreen and that the truth is less palatable.

I am now getting quite cross and will be going to the London auditions, if able.

But this was the plan for bb4. Back to basics. No gimmicks. Just normal people. They said it would work like bb1. It didn't. So then they tried every gimmick in the book - taking 1 to africa, evicting 2,putting one back in again, adding some new to spice it up when noone had walked. I read somewhere after that producers realised that they made a mistake as people's expectations of bb have changed since the first 2 (with normalish people0 and wouldn't be trying it again. thank god says me. i like teh ones with alot of drama

Agree with you there, BB4 was all about not getting any 'wannabees' and just normal people.

Look how that turned out.

I am SURE some *normal* people audition....but they don't get through.....

I don't mind *freaks* (for want of a better word!)....I would just like less of BB6 and more of BB3/BB2!

We hear tonight that you are now about to hold auditions for entrants to the next Big Brother series - BB7, 2006. Here are Digital Spy members' wishes for suitable entrants, tasks, etc. (and yes, we know you read these boards )

** PLEASE don't grab the first camera-hungry wannabees who 'seem' as though they will be good on camera. Let's have some people who aren't actually a member of Equity, and might just be an ordinary UK citizen who wants the BB experience.

** PLEASE let's have some 'normal' characters...look to BB1 & 2 & 3 for normal - yet quirky - *ordinary* people who can bring more to the house than screaming divas.

** PLEASE let's have some 'normal' bodied people in the house - you may think that we all want perfect boobs, bums, nudity, nortiness - but hey! It's much more FUN when the HMs ARE NOT exhibitionists, and have NORMAL bodies....give us some ORDINARY shaped/sized people! PLEASE! (I'd even go so far as wanting to put some plumper/skinnier/shorter/taller people in....they're more normal than "perfect"!)

** PLEASE don't put the series emphasis on sex! If it happens, it happens, but MANY of us watch it for the chats, laughs, conflicts, discussions, day-to-day stuff...and any sexual undertones are an added bonus, NOT the reason why we watch BB!

** PLEASE don't have too many teens/early 20s people. Likewise: PLEASE don't have too many older people. Give us all a good mix of ages. I'm 33 - so not OLD, and last year's BB (BB6) was mostly like watching a gaggling screeching gang of daft teenagers. PLEASE give us 12/15 HMs who span the ages from 20 through to 50+. Why do you think Celebrity BB works so well? It's not just the "celebrity" status that has ensured it's success....

**PLEASE don't give us too many 'oddities'....we don't need to watch cross-dressers, politicians, geeks, overtly camp guys, gangstas, over-opinionateds, transexuals, etc etc etc to get our kicks out of BB. Think back to BB1.....they were plucked from obscurity - AND PEOPLE STILL WATCHED!!! Why? Cos viewers could RELATE to them! Get that kind of mix now...I wonder what you would have? I'd be watching And just imagine if you threw an 'off-the-wall' member into the 'ordinary' mix...CBB3...Jackie anyone?
Yeah....brackie...

Over to you, my fellow Forum Mates ”

So according to your view we should watch, normal people doing normal everyday things.

What you fail to recognise is the fact that the people who need to be selected for a show like this, needs to be people that ARE extrovert, not afraid to speak their minds, people that are a little wierd, something worth tuning into to have a laugh at.

ITS WHAT THE SHOW IS ABOUT!

Its voyeaurism at its best.

The more weird people the better!

When a person says "i'm leaving"

Let them have a three strikes ruling

The forth time the person says "i'm leaving" - it is automatic eviction

Nope...more like BB1, 2 and 3.

Maybe have BB4 (with a better house and decor!) with a couple of nutters and mad tasks and evictions thrown in...maybe even chuck in some secret tasks!

BB4 would have been good if it hadn't had such a drab house (decor), and had a couple of *off-the-wall* people thrown in.....

And PLEASE choose who you let in for the eviction audience with a little more discretion. Or ban them from booing like idiots at HM's who don't deserve it.

And PLEASE ban teenage girls from voting!!!!!!

You can be normal and extrovert.

The person most talked about on this forum for the first week wasn't the freaks it was Jodie and they don't come more normal than that. Just because someone dresses like a tranny or is bi- sexual or gay doesn't make them interesting.

People want someone they can support and identify with. We don't want weirdos. It's been done before.

Regarding BB4. The mistake was, they put in nice but boring people. Let's have nice but interesting. Someone who has done something in their life more than just be a student. Someone who has something to say about themselves which is what makes CBB interesting.

Have fewer gays. We've seen all of the angst already. Have people who will gell with each other and then add a little spice with someone who will stir things up.

Don;t just add booze and wait for fights.

Set up the tasks so that they create divisions and let the situation create tension. Like in CBB and the nominations this week.

Don't just pick the weirdest ones in the queue who will probably turn out to be totally boring.

So you would like to see what exactly from new contestants.

Polite agruments over who is going to clean the dishes?

It's the type of people that are put into the house that causes the conflict, which (now come onwe all love to watch!)

I'd much rather watch a house full of weidos than a house full of normal people.

When I mean wierdos, I mean "very extrovert"

Nothing wrong with being a little weird. Better than being boring.

Some excellent points, there!

I am an average-looking, 38 year old gay man, with no real emotional angst. I do not conform to the gay man stereotype (like most). I do not go clubbing every other night, I do not take drugs, I do not cross dress, wear make-up or behave in a girly way. I am not a hairdresser or flight attendant and I do not want to be a star!

I am extrovert, get on with men and women equally and relate well to people of all ages from different backgrounds.

I have strong views, take an interest in the community, the country and in politics/current affairs.

I consider myself kind and a good listener; I cry when I hear sad songs and at sloppy movies. I get drunk and fall over sometimes. I sing (badly) at karaoke, and do rotten impressions of regional accents.

I am told that I can be sharp and witty.

I am also moody.

In other words, I am normal. But I do not think I would stand a chance of getting on BB, mainly because I have a disability. But reading this thread has convinced me to go along to the audition in March (health permitting)

I will let you know how I get on-will take my camera and put some pics up somewhere
