Is his apparent mental demise all just a clever ruse to gain our sympathy?

Will he start wearing his underpants on his head next to avoid being nominated by his fellow HMs?

Or, is he really as mad as a box of frogs?

Your thoughts please

Maybe this would make an interesting poll

I was beginning to think the same. He is so desperate to get back on our TV screens that i think he'd do absolutely anything.

He built his career on being 'wacky', 'zaney', 'off the wall'...I suspect he thinks he's entertaining....

Did you see his bizarre outburst at Dennis last night, came from nowhere but made great TV.

Cynical, moi?

People who fake madness are probably mad anyway.

Surely if he was in such a fragile psychological condition he would have been advised by his doctor/AA counsellor/Endemol not to take part in the show . Maybe his erratic nature is just due to lack of sleep but the hoarding of cigarettes and the obsessive kitchen cleaning are a bit of a worry.

Yes and apparently he has been hiding Georges towels under his pillow

I think it's a rule that Endemol have, that people who they select must be nuts.

Hmmm...surely that tactic would do (and is doing!) his career more harm than good though?!

I think he is a little mad yet does put some of it on as, for some reason, he is convinced he will be lauded for attacking some of the stronger characters. Maybe it is some sort of "do what you are afraid to do and you will win" therapy hangover thing?

Odd. Odd and quite sad.

there's nothing mad about hiding the cigarettes

thats a calculated act - when everyones cigarettes run out - he'll produce the stash he has - so he looks the saviour of the hour

he's not mad at all - he's all there and a bit more.

Bullybore is an attention seeker. Thats what drives his every move imo and if he isn't getting the laughs as attention then he is resorting to the poor me behaviour. He has mentioned a few times to people about where they stand for camera angles but he is the one that hangs around that camera angle as much as he can. (in front of the cooker).

My thoughts exactly, which explains why he attacked Dennis last night for being keeper of the fags

Hmmm i am very suspicious of Galloway. I remarked last night that he will probably now play on Barrymores fraialties and paranoia for his own ends, a bit like he did with Rula even though he claimed he wanted MB to win.

Interesting theory chipstick. I think in this case though, that it was Pete who had spotted the towels - i could be wrong, maybe someone can confirm this.

I thought this from day one when he cleaned up the kitchen for ages it seemed, then made sure the cup handles were facing the right way and labels facing outward.Quite a night

I don't think he's far away from putting his underpants on his head, a pencil up each nostil and saying "wibble" to passers by.

Michael is most likely doing it in the name of comedy...he is a comedy legend and he knows the public are tuning in to see his hilarious antics...other than Pete and George he has been the most entertaining...the Hitler impression is a classic Big Brother moment...and his telling off of Jodie had most people in stitches...he is a shoe in for the final three...
