It doesnt matter if he recieved £10,000,000 from bylcreme, the public rejected alex over jonny!
So rent-a-mood has got a good job, does this benefit you in some way?

Calm yourself father, you simple used a inappropriate word to describe a superstar who is going to make millions

What is being paid for is the face not the 'personality', alex is as bland and pointless as the product.
p.s. if you are going to use financial gain as an indicator of success, you might do well to remember that there are a lot of drug dealers and bent politicians who earn a lot more!

LOL, you really are getting desperate using drug dealers and Alex's looks to counter pro Alex posts. I guarantee that if Alex did'nt have the personality he had then he would have lost to the equally lady loved Spencer and we would hear no more from him.

The fact is that its his personality then sepreates him from the crowd along with Jade and im sure that Bryclcream will not be the only offer given to Alex.

Its Alex's web chat tommorow at 9am and it would be good if all the Alex fans could log on for that chat to show as much support as we can. Since the official chat is mainly filled with 13-16 year olds I can see him getting bombarded with "Why did'nt you like Jonny? He was so funny!" questions. We can show him at least some of the British public could tell the fake from the genuine
Though im not sure how hard it is to get a question in?
”

I would love to be there, but what a bad time to do it, when most of us have just got into work :O(

What you are describing is Spencer not Alex. Spencer is indeed considered more sexy (heck people wanted him to win since day one before he even opened his mouth) yet he is bland and pointless, and that's why his look was not enough to secure him a potential one million deal. If Alex was not loved and not POPULAR no one would want him to represent their product.

Alex is popular with the ladies, men want to be popular with the ladies, men use brylcreme (well they did in the 60's!).
All i want to say on the issue is...Kevin Keegan and Brut!

Even though Alex is ALSO popular with men, Spencer is certainly more popular with the ladies not with men, still his look was not enough to secure him a potential million deal. So your previous point is still not valid! Alex was chosen not only for his look, and you know that, but you just can't bring yourself to admit it. It's ok I understand

and when Kevin was handed the cheque for his work he probably said "oh... thank you very much - a days work for a new car and a free holiday for me and the family, as well as free publicity...". Kevin is still a popular bloke - didn't do him that much harm clearly, and Brut was the no.1 stink as I remember, a hit with the gals as well as the lads. So what's yer point?

Do you think Jonny and Spencer will stay friends? I must say I'm disappointed with the stories I'm reading in the tabloids. I'm disappointed that Jade would tell of how her mum beat her up when she was a child to a newspaper. I'm disappointed that Alex was on drugs like ecstasy before, and he doesn't see a problem with this, and also his last girlfriend was only seventeen. And finally I'm disappointed that Spencer might be dating a porn star. Is it true that Spencer only slept with 4 girls before entering the house? And was Chris Moyles a Jonny supporter all the way through the program?

Some bits of the transcript I loved were:
When the girl asked Jonny if he'd save her from a house fire and he said "Certainly pet. " How cute is pet?
"I did see a side of Alex that I liked" which people have chosen to ignore. He also called him deep.
He also said he'd do a story, as long as it wasn't to tell lies.

Can people just shut the hell up about how horrible Jonny is?

Emma,

Jonny and Spencer never were 'friends' (check back to Spencers eviction programme).

Spencer could well be taking advantage of certain 'opportunities' that present themselves now, hey it ain't gonna last forever!

Chris Moyles - Plays the 'Lad' card really. I remember him wanting Spencer to win as he would then be the only housemate to win without having done anything!

IMHO Jonny has come out of the 'fallout' from BB very well. Good for him. Some people won't stop thinking he's the AntiChrist though whatever he does

When did I ever say he was saintly? And even if I wasn't here, I seriously doubt you'd stop. I don't bother to respond to half the posts so i don't know where you're coming from. I don't waste my day saying crap about Alex.

Hmmm... Interesting question really... did Alex get his Brylcreem deal because of his personality or because of his looks?... I think it was more than likely a mixture of both...

Kind of speaks volumes when you consider the fact that lot of ppl fancy Alex, Spencer and Johnny... they're all pretty good looking guys... but out of the three of them Alex was chosen... hence, it's natural to conclude that they preffered Alex's personality. Or they thought that it would attract/appeal to more people....

Having said that.. Spencer doesn't have any hair to use brylcreem on

Alex got the deal because he uses the product, and was using it in the house, but, what goes around comes around.....his Dad used it in the 60's....and it looks like his hair fell out in due course.....perhaps when Alex is a couple of years older, he'll get a great deal and join his Dad on the cast of "League of Gentlemen - The next generation".

It will go that way if he continues putting that crap in his hair.

Well said Mr Merv.

If old gits & Alex want to make their hair look like the contents of a chip pan then its up to them.

Abuse to the hair over a period of twenty years & you look like Ales's dad.

Thats enough to put me off buying the crap.

What a condescending post. Just because someone is new to this forum doesn't make their opion of less importance, and all I see they have done is reply in the same vein as the post they replied to.

Not a very friendly place if people are patronised for being new here
